    Scrubwave? Hah! Gotta remember that.
Good to see they are taking modability seriously. Very good for a game like this. Wouldn't be surprised to see unoffical mechpacks after a while.
I was thinking waiting for some first impressions but I'm leaning more and more to just pre-ordering.
EDIT: Went an pre-ordered it on whim. I'll just consider it a late birthday present for myself.

I wonder how much is voiced in the final version. I could have sworn that in the Paradox stream there were more lines voiced in the first mission than in the Cohh stream.

I am oddly kinda jazzed about the mechbay stuff. I watched enough of Cohh's stream to get to the mech bay. I imagine, particularly in the late game. there will be ways to keep your mechs in the config you like best but I am oddly looking forward to see how my frank'n mechs shape up as I struggle to keep hard points full of randomly salvaged gear.

Probably the most up to date list of variants so far.

And with mods we've already seen, its pretty much a guarantee you can have any mech you want in the game.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes out with a mod that adds Star Wars or Heavy Gear units to the mix.

Do not get me started thinking about a return of Heavy Gear. I'm still salty about that ending.

The Game? The newest one or 1 or 2? And now I want a turn based heavy gear game. Yes I know there is a tabletop one but who would I play with?

That's the problem. Assault kind of fizzled out last I heard, no one seems to remember Heay Gear any more. :crying:

It's on steam now. But no idea how it is doing haven't had time to try it. Pretty sure they went to steam to get more revenue coming in.

Forgot about this till now. But hexes in the game are 24 meters. Not the 30 they are in tabletop. So if you try to math using the tabletop distance it won't work.

Yeah, its weird for me too, but it doesn't really affect gameplay. I think they did that for reasons of scale.

I'm not sure if this adds anything but I found another list of mechs posted yesterday that will be in game at launch:

Yeah. Just know that the blacklight there is either the downgraded 6 made once lostech started being lost because originally the 6 has endo steel. Or it is a typo and is actually the 7. Because people noticed it has 11 tons of armor not the 13 the 6 is stated to have. Which lines up with the 7.

The BL-7 Black Knight is the downgraded version of the 'Mech produced during the Succession Wars following the destruction of Kong Interstellar Corporation's factories on Connaught in 2802. Production of the BL-7-KNT began in 2809 and continued until the CCAF destroyed the plant in 2820; thereafter many of the repairs made by the Great Houses to their own Black Knights in many ways mimicked Kong's version. The Endo Steel chassis was replaced with a Technicron Standard chassis which, while keeping the weapons payload and engine the same, required a reduction in overall armor protection by two tons. While the same weapon types was retained, the McCorkel, Maxell and Magna lasers were replaced with their respective Tronel III, II and I models. Kong Interstellar also replaced the communications system with the Tek BattleCom system and the targeting and tracking systems with a Tek Tru-Trak system.
