Is that a Jenner with an LB-10X?

This reminds me of Battletech:3050 or whatever it was on the SNES

Looks like the planet and city are named after me.

I must have been the great leader.

You had me at "Isometric Rogue-Like". The 'mechs are just a bonus.

No buy option on Steam yet. The link on their main site is to a Humble quick-buy (for $.01 more than the actual Humble price), but has an option to tip over the $15.

You are closer than you realize. I remember reading somewhere that Mechwarrior: 3050 was actually inspiration for Brigador. :)

What I find particularly noteworthy is the Bladerunner aesthetic and music. Just a brilliant combination. And yeah... Sheep's right. It is a simple, yet brilliant project. It captures much of what I wanted to do for an indie "mechwarrior" title.

There is now a single player campaign as well as different pilots and "Freelancer" contracts you can unlock!

Equipment is also now persistent that can be purchased and upgraded between missions.

This is turning into a very robust game now. I recommend giving it another serious look. Much has changed.

Looks quite fun. Might give it a go.

Reminds me a bit of Future Cop LAPD. Now that is forgotten classic.

It's a lot of fun and plenty of value for $20.

Apparently the small indie dev team worked on this game mostly "unpaid" over the course of six years. If there was ever a game that deserves to not be pirated, this is one of them.

PROTIP: do the first few campaign missions until they get too hard for you before trying to do the freelancer work. The first few missions give you a bunch of cash to unlock stuff.

Also, dual rapid firing gatlings/chainguns are immensely powerful and are a ton of fun to use.... but go easy on the trigger.

The middle weight mechs and tanks seem to have a nice mix of armor and speed.

    lots of glowing reviews:

^prices for upgrades vary from this video, but it gives a good showcase of many of the vehicles and weapons you can unlock.

If they come out with DLC (other than an e-/audio-book) I'm going to be throwing money at the screen.

Magnus.. Praetor and the default Heavy gun.. Ooohh-migawd.

    The Kraken
The Kraken ain't half bad. My biggest issue is that it doesn't do as well against big shielded targets at long range (which is the best place to deal with them).

When I absolutely must kill everything as quickly as possible, I never go wrong with dual 30mm Konig gatlings on the Aetos. :glee:
To be fair, the Aetos is extremely slow so you still have to be a little careful not to bite off more than you can chew.
