Also notable that a Large Castle is going to be worth $2,200 and be 6 parcels, but for just under the cost of a Large Castle you can get three Small Castles with a $1500 worth each and 6 parcels each... $4,500 value and 18 parcels for $750 vs $2,200 value and 6 parcels for $800.
I don't seem to have any VIP tickets? I have an Amber and that's the only thing it says I have I can redeem. Edit: I figured it out. Further Edit: This raises another interesting question, who exactly was reserving our guild name, because apparently we can redeem that, now. Additional Further Edit: which is apparently worth a whopping $80 Additional Addendum: I now have a large castle, a large stronghold, and a large fort. Because reasons.

snagged 3 small castles and upgraded my medium fort to a large one (dig the wooden designs). was planning on getting a hat but apparently you can't use store credit for merchandise (womp womp) the rest i'll keep in store credit but will probably just rebuy VIP in the 1-yr blocks ($140/yr instead of $180 for 12 1-month tickets)

Unless someone has a Ruby Package, I was planning on reserving the guild name. I have the name reserve and all the expanded extras. If someone with a Ruby or higher package does it they can upload a personal guild heraldry, instead of using the preset shapes and colors. Yeah, I was a little bummed about that too. Tried to buy a hoodie.

If you're going purely on ratio, the Small Fort wins out at 10x the ratio of current cost vs expanded cost after 9/1. Large Keep is 7.83x. Medium is 8.89x
Alright, that's settled. Sean Agilwulf will be reserving the guild name and uploading personal guild herald. I'm thinking the traditional tri-shield for the herald, or we can come up with a Crowfall specific herald. I'll hang on to my guild reserve slots just in case something unforeseen happens. Everyone else feel free to cash yours in.
Just to note to everyone, just because you get more parcels doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a better deal. Different castles come with different castle parts, the new system will be modular so buying 3 small castles may not get some of the cooler 'large' castle pieces you'd get with the large castle, just something to keep in mind.
I'm 100% for the original tri-shield emblem, I may have fun making variations, but the original still trumps everything else, and in this particular game it fits even better than usual, the ability to use our own graphic is pure icing XD Is there any word on precisely what they're going to be doing with the 'extra character slot' since apparently things don't work that way, anymore?
What benefits does the VIP sub get you? I'm still divided on keeping that vs. cashing it in for land.
