Pre-order only if conditions are met 1. Love the IP 2. Willing to ignore loss for sake of potential. 3. Can afford to do so without risking overdraft. 4.
I'm basically okay with all of that - but do I risk the burn of yet another 40k game not living up to it's hype? I'd be gutted if it didn't.
You can add another because of what happened with angry joe and Amazon. He preordered the Titan fall 2 limited edition so he thought he was good.. A month or so later a automated email went out and who ever responded the fastest to that email got the game.. He's now sitting in limbo and may never get something he paid for because Amazon said it was in stock but missed the email to actually get the item.. What's the point of a preorder then.
that would likely still fall under 2, however that sounds more like an Amazon goof than anything to do with the title or the publisher. It isn't easily verified however, and there are circumstances where something like that might happen in which Amazon wouldn't be at fault, however it sounds to me as if they handled it... poorly, regardless of the circumstances.
apparently from his video about it, this happened to a lot of people. What is pissing most people off is that they are not going by purchase date but by when the people responded to the automated email months later in october.
Holy headbob Batman! But why are we getting force swords? Instead of... oh, right, playing a chapter librarian. So where muh mind bullets?
I love the fact that Gav Thorpe has written this, His 40k books are awesome. You can bet your right bollock this game will have The Fallen in it.
I suspect it will be similar to Vermintide, which I would love to play some more of, but don't particularly want to play it with random puggeries
Looking pretty good. Some small issues, but nothing that bothers me really that much. MP should be fun for a while.
