next Monday works for me. I will get Alpha and Gamma sorted this weekend. will aim to make your next mission less of a turkey shoot (ie. less tank zerging). if you are taking that second mission, that means you can also roll again for mission and weather (you will also have the "Bonus Mission" type unlocked. you will be fighting in similar mountainous terrain... so plan accordingly. also, any support forcs that survived last mission will carry over to the next for this Turn.
so after this next mission and we tally up our earned cash, I'd like to try and buy/find an Axeman-1G as a backup mech.
indeed, good sir. oh my sweet jesus. been doing some test matches against the AI with the Axeman. this thing is a pimp.
It's not completely terrible. We lost Sheo, the other Marathon, a Hobelar and a Goblin. In return we've dropped 8(9?) of their mechs and a Shreck, and the other mechs will be gone soon. None of our remaining mechs have any damage to speak of other than some armor peeled off the Axman. One thing to note if you can log back in tonight - we can't see the other 3 Shrecks on the map but they are still out there.
and really I abandoned the KGC mostly to make sure the damage didn't become catastrophic. I've taken 3 hits and Clamps is missing its left arm and torso, but other than that its fine.
Although, it means we need to clear the field, cause I don't think our recovery vehicle can drag it away if we scram after getting the computer
Magnus got that one covered already, game rules state that in this kind of mission Attacking force (aka Martillo) cannot claim battlefield salvage.
Yeah, originally, I had it backwards. I thought you were stealing intel from them when actually they are trying to steal intel from us. As defenders, your ACTUAL objective is to defend your position (which you've been doing) and hold them off until reinforcements arrive at Turn 30 (for these missions, the attacker automatically has "Exposed Lvl 1" applied to it). At Turn 30 you get +100% BV added to the field. It will then be up to you guys if you want to run them down for extra salvage or just end it at 30 and let whatever survived escape. I can't remember what Turn you are on right now (17 maybe?) but you can add 4 to that (from the previous start)... so you guys are close to finished. EDIT!: damn, I'm forgetting my own rules. Exposed Lvl 1 is 28 Turns, not 30. You guys are almost there. The weather is playing to your advatage. If you cant wipe 'em out, slowing them down a few more turns will be enough to earn you the victory.
might be worth adding the 100% BV and just smashing everything in a hateful rage in vengeance for my mech. shit, Dihm's too, his whammy is all fucked up because of the martillos.
