I'll be at my friends' house on the evenings of the 30th, 31st, and 1st. So I could do something the 30th or the 1st. Other than that we'll have to wait until I'm back on the 9th or 10th.
With Gihzmo being out for the foreseeable future, could you all use a jump jetting 65 ton stand in until he returns?
I'm going to say YES! If we have a couple rolls go our way we can get the Axman, Griffin and King Crab fully armed and operational and maybe have time left over to tinker with the Warhammer some. That +1 Astech bonus roll helped a lot - the Axman will be repaired without taking any tech time.
No prob. I will put MH in with Delta and move Gihzmo to auxiliary. Where is he anyway? Any idea when he will be back?
He has been busy with family and taking a break from gaming so much. Not sure when he might be back when I talked with him last week. If you will be around this evening Magnus, I can do the personal roll, figure my astech isn't going to beat Skwi's.
I will not be available until probably the 26th or possibly the day after, but feel free to log into roll20 and do your rolls there like Sheo and Skwi did. Just make sure you label them; since Skwi has the repair roll covered, all i need from you, MH, is a Personal roll: "/roll 2d6" Somewhat related, I realized that Gihzmo was your primary Scrounger. Looks like Delta is going to have to rely on you, Skwi, to pick up the slack on that. The target roll you need is an 8. You could improve your Scrounge next Turn if you want, but you need 3 more XP first. Alternatively, there is nothing in the rules saying that Gihzmo is "required" to drop in a mission if he does his event roll. He could still do his roll and be absent for the mission. One of you will have to ask him about that, though. I would have Skwi do his Scrounge roll anyway and then, if Gihzmo chooses to do his, the second can replace the first. I know it's inconvenient to lose a member this late in the campaign, but I will do what I can on my end to keep the falling rocks at bay.
Done in Roll20 for your verification Magnus. Otäck Kulandinglar: Personal rolling 2d6 (5+1) = 6 Lance rolling 2d6 (4+5) = 9
Oh this isn't good at all. Scrounge roll: 3 -5: Nowhere to run! "Exposed" lvl 3: Exposed: enemy gains reinforcements ( +100 % BV) after “x” number of turns during mission; Lvl 3 = 12 Ambush: GM may allow a force to deploy anywhere outside 18 hexes from an enemy's starting position (or closer if out of LOS). Thieves: enemies steal one non-standard piece of equipment (e x. experimental, clan tech, etc.).
what would a megamek drop be without stumbling into an ambush I'm just going to have to remember to stay clear from any cascading engine failures if I'm dropping with you all
Things that will happen: 1) skwi will decapitate something 2) I will cause a cascading engine failure on something that will sear half of skwi's mech.
if you can't reach Gihzmo to do his Scrounge check, there is still hope for you guys yet; if you roll a Raid mission, you could rush the objective and possibly detsroy it before the reinforcements arrive. it will be tough, but definitely possible (your slower guys might have to play rear guard, though)
We haven't lost a mech since like the first campaign. They've been critically damaged, but they're always repairable.
