Tomorrow's game night 2/22/12 I might make it there late... but wanted to ask if its a megamek night? and I have headphones for TS but not one with a mic.... used TS before, but may need info on where to connect to...?
Tomorrow is the big day. Hopefully my raven will be displayed or possibly two mechs who knows, and the big game, see you all there with sensors online, weapons online and all systems nominal.
If we have matches that need doing for the tournament, we'll run those, but after playing WoT with Flessar last night, it wouldn't be a bad idea if we played a bit of that while we wait for MWO. Much more than the other games we've been tinkering with, it will give us a better feel for how we think MWO will run and how we'll need to work as a team. Or maybe it was just that I finally got enough experience on my T-44 to get the new turret so I finally have my D-10T back instead of the little 85mm gun I've had to plink with. Or something.
Should we try to focus on our MWO battlefield roles as well or will they translate to WoT? As a Striker I can work towards bigger lights/mediums and go for that main battle unit role.
A striker actually fits in on medium/heavy support on artillery/tank destroyer scouts on lights but that would leav us with to many lights so the scouts woulld also have to go medium. that is if we translate the roles between the games Note on myself is that im going light in WoT but i will probably end up in a fast medium/heavy for MWO

YES. I dunno if Shermans fit well with Striker role (if any, the Jumbo is probably the best fit), and the T-34-85 is definitely not based on how i play it. The French tanks miiiight fit, in terms of being able to hit fast and hard, though don't expect me to take too many hits... On the other hand, I'm gonna try to branch out from the T-34-85 into the IS line
I've spent the last 2 nights on the comp so tonite I'm on "happy home time" duty, at least until the fiancee goes to bed.
Sorry about not making it last night, my sleep schedule is between 2 and 10 pm, gotta love working the night shift. I'm afraid I won't be able to play until the weekend or until April when I get off of work.
Yeah world of tanks is giving me problems too. I downloaded it, but when I tried to load it, the thing froze my computer, so I don't think I'll be playing world of tanks any time soon. And I don't think playing world of tanks is gonna help us in mechwarrior online.
