    Claiming designated driver is the oldest trick in the book. Get drunk at the bar without spending a dollar. You get free coke all evening, then you sneak off to the rest room, where you have hidden a Texas Mickey of Canadian Club in the back of the toilet, and pour yourself up a few triple rye & cokes. Whenever you need more pop, go to the bar and explain you are the designated driver.

    Admittedly, this one ultimately backfired on us the last time we tried it - someone dropped the mickey in the bathroom and smashed both the toilet bowl and the oversized bottle to pieces, and at the exact same time, our "designated driver" went up to the bar to ask for more coke, stumbled around, and fell down unconscious on the bar floor.
