Wife and I just got done watching Christmas Vacation. Its our tradition to watch it every christmas. Tradition's been going strong for 7 years. Never gets old.
I drank a lot and have lost my voice again. 90 year old grandmother who has smoked forever and eats glass
Technically the christmas season starts the 25th and goes till january 7th which i think is christmas for the eastern orthodox catholics. Edit: quick look the 12 days of christmas are the 25th of december to january 6th. The christmas season is 26th november to early january.
Fucking hell! You mean Christmas goes from Halloween until a week into January now? Plus that bullshit in July? It's not a holiday if it takes up a season's worth of space on the calendar.
i drank the couple bottles of mead i had given my in-laws for hosting gifts over the past couple years (not my fault they set them out in the wine spread) and then they gifted me the 18" kershaw machete i had impulsively placed on my wishlist this past hunting season. success even if my head this morning disagrees! Merry Belated!
Still running around to family gatherings. Looked up today and realized I had no idea which family I was with. But at least the ham was good.
A little pony Christmas music for this thread The song can bring tear to your eyes because it can be a little emotional for some people
Chrissmus is pretty much over but we had a nice talk with kids. "Kids, do you think that we have enough rockets and bombs yet?" -"NO!"
Yup. Gosh I know I want to spend 100€ on those rockets but at the same time I've got my eyes on a new hotas.. and Oculus Rift isn't that far ahead anyway. But at least kids know the right answer!
my personal solution for stretching a buck: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/18/ramen-recipes-instant-turned-gourmet-yolo_n_5679391.html
At work they have free sliced bread so I normally just take a cup ramen in and make ramen sandwiches.. at home with the stove top kind I add different curry powders depending on my mood.
rice and ramen builds character. and will make them want to be successful so they can splurge on food.
