I have no idea how to use Excel so if you want it in that specific format going to have to have someone else take over for me. And I thought I did follow the refit template so if that was wrong also you definately need someone else to take over instead of me.

I can show you. It is really simple. As for the refit templates, sorry about that... my mistake. the post was a copy/paste of another post for another lance. Just trying to get everyone on the same page :)

So was I Hak, not sure when I got conned into actually doing work. And sure Magnus if you want to test your patience limit be happy to have you try and teach me how to use it enough to fill the thing out. :) Just let me know when in your mountainous amount of free time you want to squeeze that in.

Welcome to the club Tzeentch. Home of the dumb and suicidal :bananalama:

I saw you wanted the R variant in the other thread. There is also the R Mk II which is what Hak upgraded to (posted a page or so back in this thread). If I remember correctly I believe it was over the price of 4mill per person by about 300k. But you could buy the R and upgrade for like 3. something with a lot of maintenance time. I dont know how Magnus wants to work it since we are beyond the warp at this point so I dont know if all the free maintenance time is still available. He will have to weigh in on that subject.

I'm a little confused about the fit for the R MK.II. Essentially you add an ecm suite, drop the Large laser for an ER, and switch the armor to 4.5 tons FF. Does this leave o.5t of room for the Cowled rotors? What else changes?

Yeah since Magnus is letting us run over the 2pts TT says you can have on rotors he "charges" .5tons for the additional structure strengthening.

It also does 11/17 instead of 10/15 of the stock R version. Just makes it bit faster, bit stealthier, and easier to hit with since the ER large changes the short, medium, large ranges for rolls.

Magnus has spoken and said you got plenty of time to buy and refit a Habringer R to the Mk II if that is what you want to fly just let us know.

Haha, I hope this works. Oh god, what have I created. The idea is to one shot one, maybe two things depending on how many rockets I spend. Let me know what ya think.

Edit: It should be noted that I only had one hour of sleep and a 14 hour work day before I came up with this. So... yeah.

You do realize the harbinger R already comes with 60 rockets, right :D

I mean, dear lord, are you trying to make a troll chopper?

That Harbinger design is illegal because it has too many slots used... you are 4 over (yes, vehicles have slots too). You could replace four Rocket 10s with four Rocket 15s, but that seems hardly worth it to me. Also, the standard Large Laser forces you to always engage at relatively short-medium range. A pilot with good gunnery and a long range weapon will murder you fast. Honestly, the Harbinger R MkII I have is about as good as it gets.

    -EDIT-

    we sorted it out

funny enough.. i took another look at it and now I'm thinking 11/17 might be the perfect speed for the Harbinger. It puts you right on the razors edge of getting that coveted maximum evasion at cruise speed buff (move 10 hexes = +4 gunnery for enemy to hit you and only +1 to your gunnery in return) and gives you exactly 1 MP to turn just enough to still be able to fire. The key is staying outside at least 10 hexes (but I would stay even further out). Assuming your target is stationary, if you are exactly ten hexes out from him you can then move 10 hexes in a... on second thought... fuck it... this is easier:

If that makes any sense to you at all, you will see that 11/17 really is the ideal movement; it gives you the evasion you need while the slightly smaller engine still gives you enough room to pack the firepower on.

Either way... I would decide among yourselves if you all want to go 11/17 or 10/15; remember that on the strategic map your lance will only move as fast as your slowest member. It would definitely make the most sense if you all are going the same speed.
