    how do we find the server you set up magnus? as long as i'm earning XP might as well do it where it matters!

    So is the progression per server? or per soldier? Is there a point to play by yourself on a common server if no one else is on? Are there like big public servers that have ongoing persistent campaigns too?

    Yeah, I haven't setup a 24 hour dedicated server yet. I wanted to wait on that until we had the numbers, but persistent servers are definitely possible. And Haki is right, there are also official servers available 24/7, but be aware that the AI can be modified to be quite difficult on some of them so don't get frustrated if you get on one of them and get your ass handed to you a lot.

    In testing my server, I found 80% accuracy for AI to feel about right for starting difficulty (especially when playing in small groups). Some maps are much more difficult than others too (especially Moorland Trenches) so keep that in mind when adjusting difficulty.

    Here are the current settings I've been using for our server:

    If you want a real meat grinder, put capacity settings to 300% :)

    its a really fun just sort of casual mindless game. easy to lose track of time when fighting over an objective. been a nice break since getting back into star citizen pvp, lol

    i'm sure once a regular server is set up i'll be on fairly often. after boosting up XP a couple levels just on my own it's tough to find a lot of motivation to play a ton knowing the progression im making is basically just "weapons testing" for the real deal

    I'm cautious about scheduling this game every day as I dont want to cause burn out, but ideally I would like to have the server up at least twice a week (perhaps Friday and Saturday) and people could come and go as they please. The main goal I have is getting people playing together as a group.

    not always on. the whole point is for people to meet up together at certain times so we can play together. maybe twice a week at times that are conducive to all time zones.

    besides, the official servers are adequate if people want to play during non-peak hours
