That's what I mean. Whenever we need a roll that we think we're going to use a lot, we just jot it down, plus what goes in it. I spent a lot of time looking up skills and stats and whatnot because I don't have that stuff memorized.
The character sheets Chummer generates are pretty helpful for that, though I have to admit I've been needing to refer to the rulebook on occasions to remember what to roll and when.
I like Haki's idea, Jot down in notepad or some a list of common skills you use, complete die pool #s. Ask me ahead of time and I can help with that.
Last Night in Shadowrun..... The party retrieved the Jeweled Bible after penetrating the defenses of Lavian da Miras (who was not there at the time). Chava looks at the book and informs everyone that it has a "malevolent aura". It is also a very odd book. The cover suggests early Renaissance or late Middle Ages. The actual pages are parchment, roughly same time period. The writing and language appear to be much more ancient, however. The language is unknown and contacts show that the style is similar to ancient Babylonian, Sumerian, Hittite, or possibly Egyptian. If you do not return to book to Azmordath, you will not get paid... what could he want the book for? Are you going to give it to him?
I'm going to take a page from The Transporter and say I never opened the book, nor did I look at the pages when other people did...it's better for my overall health if I just ignore it.
I probably won't be able to make it this Sunday - going to be at HPLFF, and probably not back to Seattle until late.
Minor note. If you want a say in what happens as far as wrap up, I have to have it by Saturday night 8) Therefore, I can plan for the next run. We don't have much downtime "on mics" as it were, any downtime needs to be off the table. You have one week before the next run (from the last one). If you want something done, let me know.
I was unable to attend earlier due to school work that needed doing, and wasn't sure I'd be able to participate so I didn't want to commit, but if you have a need of a ChopDoc/Combat Medic named Dr. Knox, I can be available now and again. No summer class for me, so that should make life a little bit easier.
Hey Dihm, You are more than welcome to join as you can. Already have your character created? (contacts, some history, etc.)
Yep, already created in Chummer, have a detailed history as well. E-mailing the chummer file and the history to you now Dr. Knox... He's... HANDY... to have around!
