I can't personally do a whole lot with it right now, but I'm curious to see how stable MP is now with the recent update. Effective immediately, I will be hosting a dedicated server. I am not 100% sure it is running the most recent patch. will explore that more when I have time.

there is only the base game. they've been continually updating it for years now. i saw it during a steam sale for $10. at this stage i can't recommend it at full price, but at the very least i recommend putting this on people's wish list if you dont already own it
Im guessing a week for textures to come to stable and two for multiplayer to come to stable. Also if you switch a world to developement you can't switch it back.
yeah, i believe its something like that. I might have been a little pre-mature with the launching of the server, but oh well.
Update 01.166 STABLE - Space Engineers BETA Hello Engineers! Today, we are pushing all the features from last week’s enormous update to the stable branch. Just in case you missed the news, this includes the total block redesign, new multiplayer netcode, a tutorial campaign and much more! We wanted to make this great update available to all players as you’ve been asking for it all week! In combination with this today’s bug and crash fixes, you should be able to enjoy a stable gameplay experience. This update also marks the transition of Space Engineers moving to Beta phase. The most important thing to remember with this announcement is that there is still more content, improvements and many optimizations to come. As an example, we can confirm that one of the things being worked on currently is a new HUD which should significantly increase your immersion in the game. Beta simply means that we feel the game now has a solid foundation. Some of the new models will be receiving adjustments because of feedback from the community. Multiplayer will be seeing more optimizations and improvements to make it run even better and make it more durable. These are just a few examples of areas still in need of attention. So this pretty much confirms what I already suspected: Space Engineers is actually a testbed for the devs main goal of creating Terminators in our lifetime. I'm just really glad they are taking Space Engineers so far beyond what they originally envisioned.
I never thought I'd say this again, but there's been recent developments for Space Engineers that actually look interesting. To catch you up, here's most of the new stuff already released: Warfare #2 is coming in February and its promising some huge improvements. Also, I have to give Keen a lot of credit for continuing to improve this game for almost 10 years now and working so closely with their modding community to incorporate new features into the vanilla game: I ain't going to lie, there were some pretty amazing reveals in this stream.
