Supremacy 1914

Not sure if any of you have heard of this before but I've been playing this for years now and have always enjoyed playing with friends. If some of you might be interested, I'd love to start a map or two and help teach the ropes/get some games going.

I think I played this game for a little while a long time ago. I never really got into it, but I'd be willing to give it another shot.

 

Went to regiaster and realised I already had an account from 18 months ago... But games are always better with friends, happy to give it another shot

 

Played it in 2010, was fun might try again.

 

So three interested parties. If we can get a few more I can start a 10-man map and leave it open so that others can join in should they so choose.

Count me in. I played Supremacy for about two months a year ago with some friends and had quite a good time; got involved in a propaganda war in the Daily News with Greece's arch nemesis: Cuba. My old username on Supremacy is Wayne Nylund.

I've only ever played for free so I have no experience with aircraft and subs. I'll have to check and see if anything has changed in the past year.

Apparently some new maps have been added; South America and Asia. What maps would you guys prefer?

 

We'd start simple with Europe. Easiest to get in and learn on.

We have 7 interested people, which is 2/3 of a 10-man map. Pretty good if you ask me for a start. What I will do is start a map that will begin immediately. However, I will make it so that there will be player peace for 3 days and AI peace for 1 day. This means that you cannot attack each other for 72hrs and cannot attack the AI for 24hrs. This should give everyone enough time to join in and pick their country and begin asking questions. I'll wait a few hours to see if people want me to increase/decrease the time that peace is there for PC/AI players before creating the map. At that point I'll make the map, password it, post the game # and the password in here so that you can join. We'll then use this thread to allow for questions, tips, hints, etc.

 

I'd prefer a shorter peace period, just get us straight into the fight the first game to learn and play a more "serious" 2nd match

 

I may be interested, have no clue what its about or the game type...?

 

Persistant strategy/empire management I think describes it, having never played it that I can recall

 

It usually takes several weeks/months for match to finish.

One other thing, if you don't like the new UI, close it out and select Old Design. I prefer Old Design UI myself.
