    What date do you have for the Toro TR-A-6?
    The Megamek version has it listed as being introduced in 2598.

    Some of the dates in MegaMek are listed wrong, I've corrected all that I could find and they will be included in the new MekHQ download that we'll be putting together.

    I know I checked the years but I didn't go through all the costs. I'll try to do that in the next few days and I'll update the list as needed.

    Thorn THE-N or Toro TR-A-6 look to be good starters.
     
  10. The Toro is a really cool mech. Needs help in short range but lots of firepower for a light mech.

    I am torn between a few.. The Icaurs II love the AC10 and 4/6/4 but only 1 ton of ammo sucks. The Firebee-2E a LL and 4 SRM2s that are just beggin for inferno rounds. And last the Firestarter A - 6/9/6, 4 flamers :lol: and 4 lasers.

    I'm leaning towards the Firestarter myself, though I'd want to (eventually, since I'd be a tiny bit shy of TP I think) dump 2 torso Flamers, dump the 2 small lasers, put another 2 heat sinks and another medium.

    Fucker runs HOOOOT, even with the changes.

    I'll be honest, a Stinger or Locust IS tempting, just cause. One hit and they're internal though.

    Edit: Ah screw it, I love the look/feel of the Firebee too much, I'll just have to be careful. CASEless ammo is nasty, I don't want to imagine Inferno rounds cooking off.

    Class D (Maintenance): costs 4 TP*
    -Advanced Equipment (add/remove ALL non-Class E/F equipment)
    -Heat Sinks (add/remove Standard or Double Heat Sinks)

    Be 2 millionish C-bills to add the heat sinks in, and the Firestarter A is little over 3 million so more than a tiny bit short. Was planning on doing the same thing. Although if there is a Firebee you can jump into that already has infernos be a hard choice to make.

    Crap, thought heat sinks were in the 2TP one for some reason.

    Also, Skwildo, we're using the same character creation as Mag's campaign right?

    Any starting limitations?

    It's super simple now.

    You start with:
    Pilot/Mech: Level 3
    Gunnery/Mech: Level 3
    Small Arms: Level 3
    [Secondary 1]: Level 3
    [Secondary 2]: Level 2
    20xp to spend on skills or abilities.

    Granted Skwi may change that. We're all gonna be super shit Periphery pilots, being 4/5.
