    Pretty sure infernos fire is also harder to put out. I think it can even set clear hexes on fire (might be an optional rule).

    One day, when the moon and sun rise high together, when the blue snow falls up, when Jupiter is in alignment with Proxima Centauri, and the apes rise up to fight the machines, shall Magnus and I find time to get together and renew planning.

    For those inquiring about open spots, as of right now there is 1 spot left in David's lance. Current line-up is listed here.

    I need to rustle up a free Sunday and put together a Megamek Training day. Which also means I need to get some open spots on Hamachi (Dihm I'll find you soon and we can talk about that).

    I still really want to do this I just have a lot of other stuff going on both here and in RL.

    Maybe those who can't fill a slot can be extras? like if last minute someone can't make it due to some unforseen accident (a building fell on their car and they are now dealing with insurance and getting home and such. it did not fall on car while they were in it)

    People are always welcome to drop as an NPC if there is a free slot available, but I wouldn't count on it if everyone shows up as expected. Playing as an NPC means that you are assigned a pilot and mech (or vehicle!) by the GM for that specific mission. You may get something totally different for the next one. Tracking stats for characters is VERY time consuming for the GM. If you are not already in a slot, we can't guarantee any character creation and advancement for you (for THIS campaign anyway).

    We are also hesitant to add characters to the campaign that aren't going to show consistent involvement (whatever is agreed upon with the GM).

    gihzmo, hordac, and tzeench are all pretty active. i would be surprised if they lost interest. i lost psu (schedule conflict). Claymore needs a recon pilot :)
