    Whenever I use Firebees I split the ammo, 1T regular and 1T inferno. That way can actually CAN do damage if you want.

    Edit: Ok tried out the Firestarter...and the Flamers dont add nearly as much heat as inferno srm's which was the whole point of taking a Firestarter, so I too shall be changing to the Firebee :lol:

    For anybody else who is confused right now, I WILL put together examples on how the new character creation and Tech Point systems will work using my own character/mech as an example. I'll be out tonight and work again tomorrow but by Sunday I'll have new posts and examples up so you can get started.

    BTW, with the new Events Skillsheet it is HIGHLY recommended (almost required) that each lance have 1 player with Leadership, 1 with Recon/Scrounge, 1 with Admin and 1 with Negotiation.

    Might want to think about your lance compositions when making characters.

    TP costs are still being evaluated, but we are honing in on it. According to the 2.0 version, Double Heat sinks cost 2 TP... or 1 million Cbills. That is about x3 the cost of what they usually are (I think), but Double Heat Sinks are a HUGE benefit (probably more than any other upgrade); we figure 2 TP is appropriate for mechanic costs/effort and game balance.

    Also, really happy to see such a positive response to the new character creation rules. We've really been working hard to make things more streamline while still giving people options. :D
