Still on the fence about this. I made an account and looked through the forums and found many names and guilds I recognized from my way too many years in Shadowbane. I just don't know if I will have the time to commit to a new game. It also doesn't really fit with my current/future plans of moving the the Philippines to be with the future wife...but.....I really really like the way this game is going.... Damn you rational adulting, why can't I be a carefree teenager again.
The time zone will be a killer, kinda like it is for me in the middle of the Pacific. I'm resigned, if I play an MMO with a group, to being the off hours solo dude. With this and SC I'll probably doing a lot of exploring / scouting as it seems a fairly solo supportive activity.

Being 6 hours ahead and working nights here, my hours off are usually between 2 in and 8 in the morning EST. They're in their final phase of Pre-Alpha. Alpha will be coming out shortly. I think they're shooting for a late 2019 release. I'll need to look into that, though. But the campaign servers are up 24/7 on their live build. So anyone who wants can jump in and try the game whenever they desire.

The game is still pretty rough. But the core systems are there. Basically, the campaign worlds operate like GW2 WvW, except you're also doing your normal leveling and PvE stuff alongside all the WvW.
Yea I tried it when they had the basic worlds working along with kingdom building, didn't build really anything and ran around for like an hour but that was about it
