I was kinda hoping disney would have gone "fuck you EA. You arn't making us enough money" and then given the star wars rights to a different company (I don't know who though).
So it's a sequel of the remake of the first one? Or a remake of the sequel of the first one? Or are they saving that for later so they can have the next sequel of the remake be the remake of the sequel of the original?
what it is is fuel for an infinite number of angry nerds to complain about a game they won't play or buy.
To be honest, not even angry about Battlefront. Just disgusted with EA fucking up the simplest of things. It's one thing to use the same title of a 30 year old movie or game. It's entirely something different to make a degenerative product with more generic gameplay than the original that is barely a decade old... and then to make a sequel barely after the ink is dry on the "first" one. Wish they would spend more time and resources on original ideas like TitanFall 2 (which is actually good from what I've heard).
They've already abandoned the season pass. Hope none of you bought that. They also added more loot crates. Apparently, all progression is tied to loot boxes and more RNG now. Skip to 14:25 for the biggest insult to this injury. Yeah, no thanks.
I got 100% on the beta missions. I'm done. GOD getting the last few kills with the officer pistol ONLY sucked... but on the forest, castle map, theres a good battlement, and people forget to look up, so woot.
Supposedly there is a movement to get loot crates banned in all games on the grounds of it being gambling. It is basically a paid per dice roll game for whether you win or loose. It being tied to progression just makes things so much worse.
