https://nowloading.co/posts/3954843...wars-battlefront-3-fan-remake-coming-to-steam Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Fan Remake Coming to Steam it's going to be f2p. this is the canceled 2015 battlefront. probably f2p to lessen the reasons that disney might go after them. which if they don't make money off of it they will probably be fine. the galaxies emulator nothing has happened to because it's f2p.
Oh hell yes they'll go after it. This will be a direct competitor to Battlefront. Doesn't matter if it's free. The people playing this could be playing the paid version. Disney goes after preschools that paint pictures of Mickey on the wall. You can bet your ass they'll shut this down.
but the people who could be playing the paid version arn't because is a crappy modern warfare reskin.
so, this is way on sale right now, and I picked it up, and frankly.... It's fun. It's a lot of fun. It's not Star Wars: Arma, and its not particularly deep, but its good, arcadey fun. The game itself is absolutely gorgeous, the sound design is fantastic, and the missions (especially fighter squadron and walker assault) are really well developed. The game doesn't have a lot of complexity, but then, it doesn't need it if it gets the core mechanics right, and for the most part I feel like it does. Obviously the game won't be for everyone, but no game is. Just wanted to throw a little bit of a post-mortem on this.
Yeah, my biggest issue with it originally was the lack of content you got for paying $60. Obviously, that isn't as much of an issue now.
$25? damn. where at? having not really followed it since deciding there was no way i was dropping $60 on it, is this a game that we could play as a group? no idea if there is a friends system in-game or not...
$20.24 on cdkeys.com (i've never had an issue with them others have). no idea about greenman gaming. it's $30 through origin. $30 on greenman gaming as well.
because a positive review from the worst person in the universe is worth 1,000 positive reviews from well known youtube celebs?
lol, EA always with those shattered dreams of what could have been i dig cdkeys though, never had any issues with them and have used them a few times any confirmation on whether or not you can play with people you want to play with? or is it just random matchmaking? (i haven't played a BF game in forever, always just played on a few favorite servers)
They are making another one? well I guess it succeeded in that it did meet their (EA) goal of selling 13 million copies but then they set low expectations for it in the first place since it is ONLY 13 million copies. At least I think 13 million is low for today? is it?
why add in everything the players actually wanted to an existing game when they can just sell a new one! huzzah!
