Shadowrun 4th Edition

DVRs are made of WIN...or so I've heard, I don't actually own one, nor do I get HBO


And now I'm gonna spend the next few days playing around at making a Wolverine character in Shadowrun...possibly add him as a contact to my Transporter character at some point.

 

Hadn't even thought of making secondary characters for contacts.

Course, with as much as I annoy the pathfinder group with that, it might not be a good idea.

 

But you see I've already had to give up Mon and Tues night shows.. the wife will not take anymore!

 

G.O.T. is awesome. I DVR episodes are catch them on HBO go.

 

HBO Go is the ticket, if you want to pay for them..... that is. Either way G.O.T. is awesome T.V. goodness.

I didn't some back checking in the Shadowrun Thread and it looks like were talking about a crew that is a little light on the awakened PCs. (i.e. Magic) My count, which is probably wrong shows 2 magic based classes. I that correct? *Sigh* I guess I'll go Shaman... Time to cleanse the world of the evil of technology with fire, lots and lots of fire Muhahahaha....

 

DVR yes, but she doesn't like having to wait for her favorite shows.. and I like watching them with her.. need Demon answer!

Quick answers... construction mostly done for the next couple days...

Game time, 8-10 East
Magic... we have a few mage types, but both Rose and Tom will play whatever we are lacking.

Contact... don't detail out your contacts that well. Unless you have a loyalty over about a 4 or 5, they know you, they work with you, but you don't have anywhere near the details of their life story, their full connections, motivations, skills, etc. Pick one in the SR book or wait and we can go through them.

I will be online most of Sunday but I will be afk a lot of it, working on my module etc. Got a lot of work done while out and about, but my netbook battery sucks, so not a massive amount got done.

 

What happened to 7pm EST? I could swing that if we game for two hours, then watch GOT no problem!

There were several people who couldn't be there that early.

 

The stage has been set. The party is ready to go on its first Shadowrun....

After receiving a message from a friend, they head to Vienna to the Pyramid night club. There they meet their Johnson, a man who goes by Azmordath.

Azmordath gives them the details of the run:

Meet Mr. Blanca in Milan at the Ristorante Milana
Pay 4k for being there, 6k on job completion
The team needs to "acquire" the Jeweled Bible from its current owner, Lavian da Miras. Lavian is known to have mafia connections and is expected to have provided intense security for his items.

For completion, the team must return the Jeweled Bible to Azmordath personally, in Vienna.

I hope we can all be ready to play on time next week. Not complaining or anything, but a 3 hour window to complete a run means we really need to have everything done. No last minute changes, shopping, etc.

I will write up a summary of what you find after the run as soon as I can.

 

Not to be picky, but it might also help to have a short list of your die pools for some of your most common actions. Combat turns took way too long last time and really slowed us down.

 

It is new to some of us, so we are still learning. But yes that is a good idea.
