I'm talking about the characters, not really the movie. Supershit is the epitome of cop out character while Batfuck is a poor excuse for a hero. Notice I didn't say superhero.
What was wrong with the characters. It does seem a little rushed mainly because they tried to shovel to much new character back storyline.
Superman was always bullshit. He's the goody too shoes I can do anything and beat any bad guy superhero who has no flaws. Besides one thing and that's kryptonite. I actually never had a favorite superhero when growing up because I hated how no matter what they always won. I had favorite villains, the joker was my favorite of all, Harley Quinn, poison ivy, starscream, and mr freeze being a close second. Those were my people. Sad though. Mr freeze only resorted to crime because the company he worked for wanted to sell his research off to the mob and ended up killing his wife. I wouldn't even say he was a criminal because he just wanted revenge on the people involved with getting his wife killed. He's more of a vigilante. But if you got in his way of seeking revenge he would kill you or well freeze you I should say.
in an article on forbes it says the movie succeeded in one goal (make money) but utterly failed in the other goal(s) which was to set up the justice league movie and make people excited about what was coming next in DC movies.
to be fair, Superman wouldn't have access to the rich comic book history we have, in order to realize he can go back in time. I doubt anyone came up to him and said 'you know, if you can travel faster than the speed of light...' I mean really, why would superman even need to 'save' people, once he had that ability, wait for a catastrophe, go back to before it happens and remove the root cause. He'd be like any good IT guy, you'd never know there was a problem in the first place. Really Superman must be some kind of showboating glory hog once he knows he can reverse time because the only reason really to fight at that point is simply so that people -know- that he saved them. What an ass.
superman doesn't know about his other comics? what? deadpool does. why can't superman be like deadpool?
You know i was rather impatient to see this movie the week it came out. And i completely forgot that captain america civil war comes out today.
