    FAtlas and Awesome went Ham with Melee last match, 4/4 kills in melee between the two of them, my poor scouts died distracting the AI.

    Only DFA kills i've gotten were my ow mechs. They were glorious though. Just never DFA with a mech that only has one leg.

    LRMs are godly for knock downs. Also, they need to re-balance being knocked down, I don't think you should be able to get up and move and fire if it happens. Get up and fire, sure. Also, single leg mobility is the same as two leg mobility, that needs to be knocked down.

    Ammo crits don't have enough explanation on if they exploded or not, or which ammo was hit. There's a lot of information lacking from the UI still in many regards. DFA data also isn't the best, you have to pay super close attention to the floaty numbers and then look at the rag dolls after. The DFA animation is also meh, it looks like the mech is jumping next to it.

    Melee hits need to allow you to get on any side of the mech you want, currently you have to click on it during the movement phase which picks where your mech goes for you, no bueno in my opinion.

    Overall its good, but does need polish.

    Yeah knockdown needs a rework. It's annoying when i knock a mech down but it is the one that takes the next turn so i stands up before i can do a called shot. I feel like it should put them in reserve if they were the next mech to go.

    Just "scared" Atlas to submission with stability damage:facepalm: After I fucked up match and was preparing to get my ass handed to myself, It kept going in circles and bracing:btears: Took about 10 turns of crossfire to put him out of his misery...

    So apparently there's somewhere you can stand in the desert (Death Valley) map that increases laser damage... anyone found that yet?

    Ok so the pilot Arclight has +1 initiative meaning if she is in a medium mech she goes during the light mech phase. I would assume heavy during the medium and assault during the heavy. Also I just had my hunchback (first attack on enemy orion) fire everything and he took out the head.

    managed to get it working and get one game in yesterday. even match between two mixed lances. killed an atlas with a headshot. took no casualties.

    "kill the meat, save the metal" immediately came to mind. :glee:

    I definitely see a persistent campaign coming from this. the afteraction report is excellent. hopefully we get more control over adjusting pilot skills.

    Just had my good luck come to a crashing end, my Awsome, Battlemaster, Urbie and Panther got head shot one turn after another. I need a new set of pilots, any volunteers?

    Yeah, headshots are coming up often. Not sure if it's just the high to-hit% or a bug.

    Shame since a lot of the other purely random ways to get screwed over from TT (legging, ammo explosions, knockdowns/unconsciousness, etc.) are eliminated or mitigated.

    Also, the AC/10 is effectively hitting as a Gauss Rifle (75% of the damage of an AC/20), which is causing it to instantly crush cockpits through full armor. That seems to be the culprit most often, since the AC/20 can't hit a barn unless you're inside it.

    Apparently the AC/10 buff was a result of the AC/2 being buffed out of obscurity to have the same damage (25) as a MLas, which pushed the AC/5 up to be equal to a PPC (50), and the AC/10 up to 75 damage. The AC/20 is still at 100dmg, though, for reasons that aren't clear. Pretty much every weapons does 5 points of dmg for every 1 point it did on TT except the autocannons 2-10 which are doubled, and LRMs, which only do 80% (4 dmg per missile).

    odd. Everytime a mech in my game that is missing a leg moves it has moved at half speed. And I think they lose the ability to sprint though they seem to have full walking distance still.

    I think they adjusted that. I used to have full movement after losing a leg, but now I don't.

    Also, I can't wait for more mechs and multiplayer. The minute multi hits I gonna be laying the smack down.

    I want the mech lab. For anyone else is the ac10 on the orion k fires a single round while the centurions ac10 fires multiple rounds?

    Huh. So ammo crits won't neccessarily make ammo explode. They might just destroy the ammo.

    Man. I put wildfire (who has multi target ability) in a battlemaster and she wrecked the enemy lance. and a different match my battlemaster just punched the head off a shadowhawk. I wish the Charger was in this game. Can you imagine the wreckage that thing would do with all the melee. Punchs all the armor off then the 5 small lasers (though I'd consider swithching 1 or 2 to machine guns if I have the weight).
