Food for thought. but I honestly have to take it with a huge grain of salt. Polygon is... not exactly the best source of gaming news. Polygon is bad enough its become a meme - https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/sites/polygon
I will say one of the reasons I am going out on a limb for this follows what Haki said too, they have been PAINFULLY open about things. Sometimes to their detriment. I feel like that kind of behavior in developers should be rewarded. They have answered questions, they have responded quickly and they have made changes quickly when it is something the community wants. They have also been vague about things revolving around their story.
So I signed up for Origin Basic, refunded my Anthem Pre-Order. Then I ordered it again at 10% off. Ended up saving $1 overall and get to play for 10 hours starting on the 15th. Plus having access to all of the Bioware/EA/(most) Lucas Arts back catalog too.
I like it quite a bit. Not saying it is the best game ever, but it is something I have been looking for for a while.
You need to sell your soul to ea. They had to release a whole spreadsheet to show how and when you get access to everything.
What I did was subscribed to Origin Basic, got 10% off and then re-pre ordered. So I go the game for 53.99. So after the 4.99 I ended up saving $1 and I get to play for 10 hours starting on the 15th. If you want to play for more than that you would have to subscribe to the $15/month thing and you can play as long as you continue the subscription. It is basically all EA you can eat for $15/ month, all of their games are included.
What Javelins are people leaning towards? Myself I'm drawn to the Colossus. It has that Elemental/Space Marine Exterminator vibe. Though the Storm is tempting
