The JF-17 is planned to be released on 4th December. I expect alot of information to be released next week and at release. These are the planned weapons but this was posted back in March so it might have changed some.
DCS have just announced where the upcoming free map will be located: The Mariana islands. Other news: They will be doing a DCS: A-10C Warthog 2 and a DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark 3. Over the years, the game have had alot of technological improvements and they are now planning to bring those to these modules. It means dramatic visual and system upgrades. Therefore these will be released as new modules, replacing the older ones. If you already own these modules you will recieve a significat discount on the new modules. The P-47D is the next warbird to be released. It's far along in development with mostly flight model tuning, adding object detail and creating the mission content. A new WW2 european map is planned to be released alongside the P-47D Following the P-47D, the next warbird will be the De Haviland Mosquito FB MK.VI The Mi-24P has been in development for the past year and is currently on track to see a release in 2020. There are plans to have the F/A-18C and F-16C feature complete and out of early access by the end of 2020. The UH-1H Huey will have cooperative multiplayer added (2 players in one helicopter). Currently in internal testing. Over the past year, a massive amount of work has gone into Modern Air Combat in order to make it a AAA title. During this period, they have also expanded the scope and features of the product substantially. This has led to it's release being pushed back to 2020. Modern Air Combat will not be a DCS World product, but rather a new series for them that focuses more on action, gameplay and a shallower learning curve. OH-58D Kiowa Warrior: Developed by Polychop-Simulations, the developer of DCS: SA-342M Gazelle, the OH-58D will add the first American attack-reconnaissance helicopter to DCS World. Using the Mast-Mounted Sight (MMS), the Kiowa can acquire and track targets while in cover, and it has teeth that include Hellfire anti-tank guided missiles and unguided rockets. F-15E Strike Eagle: Building upon their excellent M-2000C, Harrier, and MiG-19, RAZBAM is hard at work on the F-15E Strike Eagle. There are other 3rd party aircrafts in development but they are not under a development license agreement. New WW2 map, The Channel Map It will cover the south east england, english channel and a portion of the low countries and north eastern france. It's build to be able to cover missions and campaigns from the late 1930's to 1945. Third party maps in development. Falkland islands map Syria map Spanning from Turkey in the north to Israel in the south More units in the world war 2 assets pack Vulkan api support Lightning improvements Improved weather and clouds Integrated voice chat Improved damage models on the ww2 aircraft. Improve the aircraft ai beyond visual range offensive and defensive behavior. Air to ground attack maneuvers Defesive threat response (SAM and AAA) Very low level flight and terrain following Formation keeping and correct use of external lights More realistic and complete Air trafic controler for airfields. Air to ground radar and forward looking infrared (FLIR). Required to finish F/A-18C and F-16C. Improve missile dynamics New AI units, currently developing the SA-5 surface to air missile and the SS-1 SCUD surface to surface missile.
