    As a massive fan of the originals, ill be trying my best to judge it for what it is rather then what i want it to be.... and i honestly cant think of a good reason why not to make a new diablo,

    You know how Blizzard goes: delay delay delay and one day you'll play. I haven't been lucky enough to get a beta key like a few of my old gaming buddies, but from what they've shown me of it I think it looks like it has a good amount of potential. They released a quote awhile back about the delays and whatnot, "Nobody remembers a game for being late, they remember it for being great." While I don't wholly agree with that, I think they make a reasonable point. I would much rather that they release a polished product whenever than a mediocre one now.

    According to an IGP twitter user, it sounds like another game was supposed to release on that date as well.

    This is a change for Blizzard. Usually they'd announce a window and hype it up half-a-year in advance. Two months seems almost like some kind of ninja tactic.

    As a massive fan of the originals, I have to get this for honour's sake alone.

    Of the precious tidbits of gaming culture we got here in SA, Diablo was among the first games through the gates when the embargos lifted.

    As such, it'll always be special in a way.

    I'm sure it has those annoying little gremlin fucks who run away whenever one of them is killed. GOD those things pissed me off so much in Diablo and all its clones.

    I got in to the Beta as well and was less than impressed. Last i heard you needed a constant net connection to play and they introduced the real money AH. I will be steering clear of it.

    I kinda like the Ideia of playing Diablo III But... I don't think there will be allot of new things after the Diablo II sequel maybe the Multiplayer will be better but i don't think that just shining up the graphics will do anything of new , same thing I think if there is a new WOW sequel for me , Blizzard is getting kinda boring
