Wouldn't make much sense to have a physical copy if you still had to download (aside from updates). Then again, you never know.

 

It makes sense if you want a copy in a different language. I downloaded the US version because i found the german synchronisation rather horrible.

 

Well when I got a copy of MW2 it basically was just a steam install then you downloaded it all, so I was curious if I have to download it completely Ill just buy digital.

Ya no there are plenty of launches just as bad if not worse maybe not for a single player option though. My install has sped up since hitting 2% at 40 mins.

It took me a while to figure out that you were getting a copy of Modern Warfare 2 and not Mechwarrior 2 on Steam. At first I was like then I was like then I was like .

 

I know I disappointed myself.... luckily I passed my account around to about 10 people so they lost out on 10 sales and D3 finally finished with an install time of an hr 16 on my laptop, My desktop looks to be goin a bit faster.

 

I scored a copy for half price thanks to some best buy rewards bucks. So if anyone else needs a guest pass let me know I have a couple! VoxArbiter#1996 is my battletag

My roommate and I had a conversation about this actually. It's why I mostly play rpgs or games that focus on replayability like the Warriors series of games unless something is just hella awesome like Asura's Wrath.

 

Just a note, make sure you check what region your guest pass is for and log into that region... also I'm getting an error 33 for servers down for maintenance, so I guess not trying this out today

 

Diablo 3 and their diablo 3 sites are down for maintenance. Fuck you Blizzard for making this game online only. Time to eat nutella with wonder bread. I can not wait till someone cracks diablo 3 and I can play it offline.

 

yeah that really sucks. lagging in singleplayer because you are uploading a video in the background is... disturbing.

Yeah, managed to get in and play fora bit before work. I take solace in knowing blizzard didn't get me for the full 60 bucks.
