is very possible, I tend to turn my flash off when I'm taking pictures of mini's because it washes out the details.
Just finished my Cannonry Molga last night. It was fun, because this was my first build I did a full repaint of rather than just details and topcoating. Besides some of the light grey paint on the cannon that I've got to redo, all that's left is some decals and some panel lining
Really nice miniature...reminds me of a very talented friend of mine, he did a space wolf army in the same colour scheme, with the pattern as well Can't remeber the exact pattern, but I think it was runic in nature
Anyone want to buy my painted Horus Heresy army? http://www.ebay.com/itm/221519515001?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 sale price is around half of cost from the forgeworld online shop.
damn, don't show me shit like that, I don't want to know that my army could potentially net me $1000+
Damn you Amazon and that store (Nerdvana games) that doesnt ship outside US! 85$ for 1 Prime Axiom (Warmachine Convergence of Cyriss Colossal) shipped, but only in USA damnit! Wanted 2 of them and would have won even with tax.
Time for some resurrection.... some stuff I did recently still need to finish the bases, fucked up the flyrant a little and need to go redo the carapace, photo is of prefuck up. Spoiler [/spoiler
very nice. I like the highlights on the carnifex's carapace especially. I need to put some of my Flames of War and Infinity stuff up here...
The carnifex is the most complete of the tyranids in those pictures. On the first one you can see a helmet poking out from under the carnifex, I wonder who it belongs to. I think the brush I used for the marking highlights on the flyrant was a little to big so they came out a little to big and wonky. Need to use the same ones I did for the carnifex which means I need to do some testing as I didn't write anything down as the carnifex is the first one I did with this scheme. I'm just waiting for this semester to end to have the free time to keep going. Just that the more I keep going the stress level of screwing up goes out the roof. On the scheme I went with a more natural earthy color scheme then the bright flashy types you tend to see more often. Behemoth and leviathan schemes are just bland in my opinion. For the size of these kits and them being miniatures well they are monsterous creatures. So besides a few other kits from forge world the flyrant and the trygon are some of the biggest tyranids.
when it's full scale? Technically speaking, this: is a miniature, 1:20 scale replica of the USS Arizona. It's probably as big as your car.
Ahh, those nids looks totally nice Hollistergreat organic look. I just realized a year-long dream, and got myself an airbrush, so I've found new love for the miniature hobby. Now I can finally start working on my Space Wolf Army. Fist though, it's time for my Warmachine Cryx and Scyrah. Hope to return soon with some pics
I seem to do a lot better on the organic creatures then metals and such. Might just be shading knowledge as most of mine is for tyranids on the miniature side. I'd like to get a air brush but I prefer brushes could just be preference because of experience though.
