Stormtroopers can actually hit something?

 

The Empire's problem was that they left two (corrupted) Jedi alive and in influential positions, and they proceeded to continue making dumbass choices and fucking up battle plans and intelligence operations laid out by actual competent career military officers.

 

No one is actually stopping you from making a book, film or game series of a dystopian or utopian empire that crushes teenage rebels who rebel because they don't know any better.

You are entirely free to write it so that the empire also crushes all opposition sometimes even before engaging them in combat because their prowess is such that merely seeing them drop out of warp in the system causes utter panic, whole groups surrendering while others just abandoning everything and making a run for it.

I also think that I would hate that but who am I to be such a prejudiced racist about these things?

Also it might be that our upbringing is merely causing us to be so regressive and we need to unlearn it.

I'm going to see it again next week. Thank god for midday viewings, I can just skip work to go see it. If the boss calls me I'll say I was watching Star Wars and that's why I didn't answer.
