it was noticeable, but not earthshattering. Overall R1 was good, but it really could have been better with fewer characters and a bit more characterization of the ones that remained. also. oh god. That pun Vader delivers to Krennic. eurrrrrhhgghghhh. The more I reflect on it, I think I liked TFA better, but YMMV
I probably like some of the characters from Force Awakens more but I definitely prefer the tone and story from Rogue One.
I'm just here to say I'm seeing it in the cheap theaters, where I can actually afford to see it, and therefor I will continue to avoid seeing all trailers and reading all threads on it. That's right, I'm here to tell you all I haven't read anything in here. At least not for about 3 or so months.

There was also the thing in the Cloud City where R2 makes a beep as it and Luke are trying to sneak up on the Stormtroopers and Boba Fett, as R2 makes a beep Boba Fett turns his head as in hearing the beep but pretends that he didn't hear it, they move away from the exposed part and set up a counter ambush. There is actually a pretty good chance that in his golden days Lucas might have been on top of his game. And then later "o' how the mighty have fallen" hit him. But really, no need to worry too much about stuff. I keep people complaining about canon this canon that - As an answer to someone talking about "which canon you prefer" or so. Spoiler Anyone else notice the Mark Hamill voice later in the movie. its a part at the end on yavin 4 when all the X wing squadrons are getting ready and flying out to scarif for the final battle. only about 8 to 10 seconds of speech time but ends with "may the force be with you" or it sounds like mark hamill to me. also watching the movie the 2nd time i noticed at the end that Darth Vader just stares at the rebel ship Leia's blockade runner is hiding in for a bit to long... like he knows something. maybe why he wants to go on board. because he senses something.

is it really cheating when you're using it to bridge an obvious gap in ability in the first place? It's not significantly different than using superior mechanical skill or an understanding of physics, or genetically heightened reflexes. If that's cheating then I suppose they should just tie them up put bags over their heads and then let them race. Though there might still be some genetic advantage in that circumstance
