Shadowrun 4th Edition

So we're running tommorow at 8, right?

 

That is the plan, but I also realize it is Memorial Day Weekend. I am not sure how many we will have, but I intend to play if we have enough.

 

I will be there.

 

Barring emergencies, I'm there.

 

I'll be there though i'd like to meet with you, Demon, a little ahead of time to sort out how i got in-country and on the team and stuff.

 

I will be around before hand to sort out some character backgrounds etc. There is not a set "team" per se, each mission Johnson is hiring for is independent, though there are some recurring characters, as it were. And they are related.

 

Put me down as tentative for tonight. I'm feeling rather "Blech" today. Not sure if I'll feel up to playing.

 

Tonight, on ShadowRun....

Azmordath once again sends the party to recover an artifact. This time the Sword of Ares, which lies in a temple submerged under the Aegean sea. Upon recovering the item, and being warned by a merrow (merman) that they do not understand what they are dealing with, the ship escorting the party on this adventure is attacked and opens fire on some airborne creature that has dropped a crate on the ship.

After the boat arrives in Rome, the party disembarks and is met by a strange man calling himself Ramel. Ramel offers the party twice the pay if they will hand him the sword and walk away. The party however, does some quick research while he gives them time to think. Ramel has been at the scene of some of the most heinous massacres in the Middle East and Europe for the last twenty years. These include nuclear weapons and disasters, chemical weapons, and most events where the fatalities totaled in the hundreds or higher.

The party refuses his offer and returns home... by renting small cars and avoiding the obvious choice of public transportation. The train is derailed leaving Rome and over 200 people die.

Upon the party's return to Vienna, they confront Azmordath, requesting more information. Azmordath first matches the attempted bribe, then gives a tale of how he is collecting these evil artifacts to destroy them. He says that if Ramel Ah-Teen were able to collect these items, he and his group would bring about destruction described throughout history as the apocalypse, Armageddon, or Ragnarok.

It appears the party has a powerful group competing with them for these items.

what archetype do you guys need? i have a charismatic businessman mostly ready. But I could do other things if you need them more.

Currently the party has about everything, the biggest thing is who shows up on any given mission. Another Face never hurts. A tank would be good. But the party is actually covered well.

 

I will not be able to attend next sunday, my flight gets back from Cali at around 10pm. good luck everyone!

Bad news, summer related, we are used to it by now....

Today, June 9th, I need to cancel for RL. Sorry for the last minute notice, was hoping it would all work out.

June 16th... Father's Day, gotta cancel for that.

June 23rd... Once a month meeting thing, gotta cancel for that.

One point I need to add. If anyone wants to accomplish something in 1 month of down time, talk to me. I will be around this week to iron out die rolls etc.

You can spend karma if you have it. Also, I have implemented methods of increasing your contact loyalties (but it costs a lot of cash),

 

Assault Cannon Ammo, upping my Arms Dealers loyalty...and drooling over the Gauss Rifle that I will probably never have

June 23rd opened up, we will be able to play then.

There's been a change of plans with that, for now. Since it won't give me back any essence, I'll just keep what I've got and kick myself a few dozen times. I'm still up for the boat though. Gonna have to check funds and all that. Also, I need to look into getting schematics for the assault cannon rounds. I know that'll be a pain in the ass though.
