Did this reset gear/characters or anything? I had an absolutely horrible night last night in DayZ... Everything that could have gone wrong did... twice... And I'll be gone for most of the weekend.
It is possible that you may have lost something, I lost a few items in my tent when he updated and a bunch of medical supplies and ammo last night when Axe reset the server again. Then again, I might just have been unlucky.
After the restart the tree that was growing out of my car's engine block was infront of my car and i could continue driving Thx axe
Might be that it's not on the server at all. Axe, could you check if one has spawned? Just don't look at the coordinates.
It isnt at the SW airfield either, I spent 2 hours crawling around that thing after opening a door borked my leg.
After a server restart tonight, we were unable to log back in, which means we didn't get to hide our vehicles. If anyone manages to log in tomorrow, please don't take stuff that is laying in the open Thanks!
Something seem to have corrupted the database between the restarts. I made a rollback to the 20121103 version of the database and everything seems ok again. I don't know what caused this, but noticed some irregularities with some datafields which I tried to fix but that didn't seem to help.... Änyway, the server is coming back up. I'm sorry if you've lost any progress....
That doesn't sound good. Will look into it when I get home. This was mainly meant for SoR people, and while some bandits are good it shouldn't get out of hand. Mind pming me what happened?
It's nothing, Axe. Don't worry about it. I just took it too personally when someone decided a GAZ was worth more than my friendship and support in-game. As for the server itself, it appears that the vehicle bug that keeps wheels from being repaired still exists. Found a hatchback that had a blown tire that didn't show up on the repair menu.
Hey Vargyr, I'm sorry about that. It was nothing personal, I had just spawned and realized I lost everything except my Hatchback, which I accidentally crashed going east. I needed the GAZ to get to my camps which I haven't shared with anyone and I wasn't sure if you were going to lend me it so I was just going to borrow it and then give it back. Unfortunately I crashed it as well... I can pick you up and drive you to another GAZ though, it is fully fueled and only missing a wheel which we will need a server restart for so we can repair it. I will also give you two grenades as replacement for the one you lost, weapon of your choosing and medical supplies. Hopefully we can resolve this without it going too far.
This game sounds very interesting........ And im not talking about the Vargyr thing, just literally the game in general.
