finally went back and subbed to SWTOR for a month this past Dec into Jan just to play through all the new story content. it's KOTOR 3 and it's glorious
It's one of those games where if you're gonna spend money on anything you might's well just sub for a month and get it that way.
How did i miss that planet sized plot hole in force awakens. They shouldnt have even been able to use the light speed trick to get through the shields to get to the surface. The whole mass shadow pulling ships out of hyperspace and preventing ships from going into hyperspace is canon. So i guess disney either didnt do their homework or just ignored that.
it's F2P for the "original" game, all 8 class stories. the couple expansions after that you can buy individually (hutt cartel & shadow of revan) or you get access to them as a subscriber. the most recent expansion though, knights of the fallen empire, is being released episodically and is only available if you've got an active sub. takes place years after the events of the original and other expansions, and goes super heavy on story. i really, really enjoyed the KotFE chapters released so far. it goes pretty quick though so i'll sub up again for a month once they've put out a few more chapters. the combat for the entirety of SWTOR is laughably easy with the updates they've made, the content is only worthwhile if you want to enjoy the story
If it's canon from a book, then it's not canon. Nowhere is that mentioned within the movies so far as I'm aware.
Thats not from a book. Even rebels has interdictor cruisers now so its canon. Interdictors replicate the gravity well/mass shadow of planets.
Where are you getting this from? Movies are the only canon, if it's not in them it's not canon. That was stated when Disney performed the buyout.
Anything made by disney is canon. So the rebels show is canon. They said so. Any books made by disney are canon. There are gravity well generators in rebels. Which is made by disney. I think disney said all of the clone wars series is canon as well.
So what your saying is if you want to learn, read, watch anything that is "canon" you have to buy All new stuff from the facist Disney empire.
the only thing "pulling" ships out of hyperdrive is the safety I'm sure somebody like han can over ride such a safety (as far as I know)
I actually can't watch the rebels one because of the main alien guy. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I've tried and every time I hear his voice it is just completely off putting.
It is actually Geek. A geek is someone who strives to be knowledgeable in what is considered hobbies. ill also take its other meaning.. a carnival performer who performs wild or disgusting acts
So what I'm understanding from all this, is that the new Star Wars "canon" technology and cosmology introduced by a wide variety of scriptwriters, novelists, video games, and fan projects, continues to be self-contradictory. Just as the old "canon" was. At least everything is consistent in inconsistency.
