    I feel like some of this "luke has to be gay" is just because people don't want rey to be his biological daughter (which is still the most likely of who her father is).

    but i am hoping they make mara canon by having her be reys mother and luke the father and mara died sometime between episode 6 and 7.

    How the fuck has he obviously been heterosexual? That's just your norm so you ascribe it to him. The four movies he has been in do not 'obviously' describe his sexuality at all.

    You all have preconceived notions that are not confirmed in any of the movies. If they give Luke a woman they are 'turning him straight', because right now he is NOTHING. How about you let the people who own the IP decide what they want to do with it and accept their story that they want to tell?

    They could just never mention his sexual preferences in any way and let people think what they want. I mean he is an old hermit living by himself on a completely deserted planet. Maybe he's moved past such physical needs.

    Okay so I think ive figured it out how this could work...


    Luke was mentally scared for the rest of his life after coming to the realization that he fell in love with his sister and kissed by her. This caused him to then figure out he was actually gay. He eventually trains kylo ren and forms a master and subordinate relationship, in which the student eventually falls in love with the master, but the master obviously loves someone else. So the student "kylo" becomes angry and vindictive running away vowing to seek revenge for breaking his heart by killing everyone his master cares for.

    yes....

    this has to be it.

    so the two rumored titles for episode 8 are Tale of the jedi temple and The order of the dark side. I don't think it's either not only because they are fucking stupid but because they are two long.

    first movie of each trilogy (3 words each)
    The Phantom Menace
    A New Hope
    The Force Awakens

    second movie (4 words each)
    Attack of the Clones
    The Empire Strikes Back
    ?

    third movie (4 words each)
    Revenge of the Sith
    Return of the Jedi
    ? (probably something starting with R)

    those two rumored titles are probably just the working titles (could be the two storylines if there is more than one empire had at least 2. the battle of hoth and lukes training.) they seem more like chapter titles.

    Just think I should point out here that 'serious life choices' don't necessarily happen overnight, Luke lived on a desert planet, how often do you think he actually got to interact with a woman, much less a woman who liked him (other than his aunt)? There's absolutely nothing saying he couldn't be a little bi-curious had his little flirt with Leia and went back to thinking about Dak... XD
