Tried everything I could think of and the only help I got from the official forums was 'Reset the server'.

So if you haven't reset it since the last time things went wonky, we'll have to do it again.


So. Does anyone need their sectors re-backed up?

 

Just whichever sector my station was in. Other than that, I've got all my ships backed up already.

 

So, as someone who had seen this game on steam, and wanted to dabble a bit, how would you reccommend getting started?

Once I get out of work I'll do another reset so we have the entire weekend to make sure it's right. Make sure all your ships are saved and etc etc, so on and so forth.

 

Server has been reset. We'll have to get all the sectors and such worked back in, but the pirates should be fixed.

 

I will get the sectors imported late tonight/early morning.

I think i broked the server crunching a station down -_-. not sure what happened. also....the pirates are ruthless and will camp spawn. watch out.

 

Running a new StarMade galaxy on the dedicated server.

Point your gameclient to: starmade.dasserver.net : 4242

 

I've placed a station in 2,2,3 as well as protected the sector. No pirates will attack you while you're in that sector. Feel free to build your shit, but be warned, outside of that sector is death of the highest order.

 

I know its been a LONG time, but it looks they've made some pretty significant changes in the last year.

 

We may have to get another server going....

 

I could go for that. We had good times playing this one.

 

Maybe I missed something, but unless you have ton of people playing SE, there does not seem to be much to do. I liked the fact that in SM you can have roving bands of pirates, AND you can make their ships really fucking bad ass and wreck shit if you want to. Plus there are space stations to assault and raid for stuff. It was good times.
