We know the AI can use missiles now. And I'm fairly sure this is what has been killing us out there. The starbase missiles may be big, but they're easy enough to dodge. These little shits, however, are using homing torpedoes (4.5k dmg at 3km). I don't know if they can actively lock on or are just getting lucky, but the way the Isanths will always face you, I have a feeling they are locking onto our cores. Which means.. Anti-missile turrets for cap-ships, lots more maneuverability for fighters, and no less than 4.5k shields on any ship. I think.
Build the Death Star. I got the schematics for you. Call me when it's finished and I'll join in as the Emperor. Just need to switch a couple of parts to their StarMade versions or use something else instead for what doesn't exist in it. But the main weapon should be easy enough to reproduce in correct scale, as well as the decks and auxiliary systems. Just, this time integrate the frickin shield in the Death Star and not on nearby moon.. ffs. And seal that goddamn vent! I don't want my flagship be taken out by a lucky shot.
Ok, since Starbound didn't work yesterday I started trying to learn to play this game. My first glance of it was "humm?" followed by "I'm not so sure about this", but now that I got my first ship going a bit and doing some asteroid mining it's really growing on me. I really appreciate the ease of creating ships. I would like to join you on the server some day when I've got the time.
BORG IN SPAAAAAAAAAAACE! Complete with broadsides. (Still not complete, but at a point where I can show it)
