Geez I don't know what is up with your guys download rates, mine took a couple of hours, at most. In other news, I love the Juggernaut. Dunno if I'll play an infiltrator or a technician as a secondary.
See, I thought mine had been closer to an hour, but all of this talk of several hours made me second guess myself. IIRC, I started the DL, did a few forum things, watched an episode of Sons of Anarchy and then it was done.

If you do end up getting the starter pack in the next couple of days make sure you pick it up through steam, because in game its $20. I picked mine up today after playing for a few hours last night. I figured that the time it would save me to unlock a couple of the classes and some other weapons was worth $10. That, and I think this game will be a fun little distraction before MWO/when I occasionally want to play something different.
I went through Steam as well. One thing I've noticed so far is that even though it's a FPS I haven't seen much of the trash talk and griefing that you hear so much about with CoD and BF. Granted it may be worse with voice comms but the text chat is pretty calm.
Whenever I try the download link that doesn't use Steam, I get a general installer for the creator's games (which is fine). Now, when they give me a choice of games to install... this game is not on the list. Thus, I can only download the game from Steam.
Now, all you have to wait for is that moment when you travel in 220km/h to pick up the enemy flag and someone on your team decides to do a lama-grab when you are 10m away from the flag. That happend to me yesterday Now, for the typical tribes word for when it goes bad... Shazbot!
I -love- the juggernaut. Last night when I was having fun dicking around I played it like an infiltrator. The difference was once I got near that generator not only did it die, but so did the 3-4 people guarding it
