I got into the Kickstarter for this a few months ago, and into Warmachine/Hordes a little over a year ago. Great TT miniatures game, I enjoy it 1000% more than WH/40K. Ive got minis for it, have had them since just after launch for CYGNAR! Eat lightning Bitch! .... Anyway, back to the OP, I didn't know anything about this till you linked it. I am intrigued now and wish I would have had the opportunity to contrib.... shit my wallet had another heart attack, brb.

Originally it was not a kickstarter. They have been posting updates in their magazine for the last 3 years or so. I think they just jumped on the kickstarter bandwagon after they saw so many other games making tons of money. Either way, I was happy to kick in on this one. Hopefully it will get us an even better game than was originally planned. At least it got us the PoM as a playable side. Originally it was only going to be Cygnar and Khador.
PoM can go back to the desert and keep hitting them selves with sticks! And give me the other half of my capital back you bastards!
Mellow, the original game was a FPS style, not a turn based strategy and was funded by private investors. When the gaming industry took its dunk a couple years ago, their backers pulled out. So, they used the existing 3d art assets and started Tactics instead, using Kickstarter instead of the big name backers. And Flessar, you can have the other half of your capital back when you agree to cede the rest of your northern lands back to their rightful owners. Well, that or the Butcher will come take them from you.
Damn you Khador skum! You took the northern fortress pass over the dead bodies of nearly 1/4 of your army, how many more places do you think you can get before you run out of men!?! Eat Lightning Bastards! (And charger shots, those hurt too, despite popular critisizm. Ive killed every Khador caster up till the 2.0 release with the lil guy.)

Orsus would need to get over his problem of being dead to ask me that question. My Hammer (read: chargers hammer) will see the last Nail (read: chargers cannon) into your coffin. Oh and I usually run with a pair of them, so 4 shots from those things with boosts on both ends of the roll for 4 focus, yes please. OH and Nemo has had yet another brilliant idea, leading to your immediate demise im sure.
Just remember the Cygnar master race. Just because we have a fetish for lightning doesn't mean anything. Plus we have Kraye, a man so badass his badassness oozes into his warjacks making them behave like horses. (Plus Caine, but he's just a guy with a bad attitude and a pair of pistols)
I will almost certainly be deployed or preparing to deploy yet again. It seems to happen whenever there are things I want to do going on, like be home for Xmas for the first time since I joined the army. Edit: IF I am not however, I will take my Cygnar forces and shove you back into the cold blasted wasteland you come from skum. And retake our rightful land! And maybe free that other place that gave us gun-mages before being over run.... Nah, their merc caster is too good to jeopardize by giving her something else to do.
