Any of you guys mess around with the Convergence of Cyriss stuff yet? Looked pretty neat when they were displaying it a few months ago.
I've been waiting for CoC since 2003... So, I played them at Lock n Load this year. Syntherion is insane with a Prime Axiom. The limited model selection will hurt them competetively, but I think they'll do OK. Also looking forward to what looks like it might be a new hordes faction for Infernals, based on the storyline from the league event this year.
I never really looked at Hordes, until I got Wrong-Eye and Snapjaw in my Merc company. Fury is such a cool mechanic--cooler than Focus, in my humble opinion.
I agree Derak. I had actually switched from playing the PoM to Circle. I really enjoy the fury mechanic and the way it allows you to react to what is happening easier (with a fair amount of risk).
Filthy Warlocks and their shenanigans system that is confusing. Real men put focus onto a jack and watch it eat something. Twice. (3 focus on Ol'Rowdy, launch and laugh) Plus steampunk robuts are cooler than monsterous things.
Is there an actual penalty for raging? Back when I played table top having your creature lose it from fury points really wasn't a bad thing as much as the hordes players insited it was.
it depends on positioning. if you have done a good job of setting him up so that the nearest things in warbeast's sight are the opposing team it might be a good thing. if you screw up it can easily eat it's way through your own forces. the biggest issue is that it is a turn that you don't get to control what that beast does. it might do something useful (or not) but it is rarely optimal. one of my gnarlhorns
I was going to buy Kickstarter pack, but left it too late and didnt make it because i didnt have account there and didnt manage to make one in time...
I have a Borka army list I play frequently that I call "Borka's Drunken Bastards". My Krielstone is actually a KrielKeg...
