I have started painting a small Cryx army and have some Scyrah lying around as well. will post pictures when painting is more complete. I'm a Journeyman kickstarter, so I'm really looking forward to the limited ed. miniatures next month
Gah!!! All my 100+ paints are dry! Thats what you get for not using them in 1-2 years... But Trolls, Cryx, Mercs and Legion for me.
I started playing WH40K and Fantasy about 25 years ago....In the ol Rogue Trader days Played and painted for many years, but lost the interrest for 7-8 years. When I finally started again, wh40k was ruined so I tried WM and liked it. I've always been in this hobby for the miniature work, not as much the game in itself, so I was easily sold on the nice minis alone, but it's actually seem like a good game. I know this isn't the right type of miniature, but i haven't finished any WM minis yet Both are converted and painted about 15 years ago (notice the dust) in my glorious Eldar days (2nd ed. Eldar kicked ass, the Exarches below could kill an enemy army on their own)
So, any European backers here who dont need/could upgrade to get second game and or the Cryx Sturgis rhat iöcould buy from them?
is that supposed to be a reaper autocannon with a bayonet affixed scythe? well played sir, well played.
I'd like to start playing Warmachine tabletop games, but I don't know which army should I choose. I'm looking for some opinions on Cryx and Khador (I chose those two because I like their design but now I'm looking for some further information from more experienced players)
from what I understand (and this information may be outdated) Cryx is the winningest army out there at the moment.
Khador is slowish in your face armoured faction. Cryx is agile but fragile gimmick srmy who can eat your face if used correctly
Anyone coming to Lock n Load to play Warmachine? I live literally down the street from the convention...
I am busting out the armies for AdeptiCon again in Chicago this weekend. Sadly, Washington isn't in the PTO/$ budget this year.
I haven't played much tabletop WM yet, but I'm collecting for Cryx and Retribution of Scyrah myself. My choices was made exclusively on the way the factions look, as I usually spend 90% in painting and 10% on gaming And please, if U have some miniature pics, post in the Miniature Vault.
