"You're all going to die! Between now and 2 billion years from now when our weapon finally reaches here!"
Episode VIII: Rey is a Lesbian suck on that social justice warriors. (not the real or even rumored title)
If it means Rey becomes a 3 dimensional character rather than a cardboard Mary Sue, cool And a non-stupid outfit
But its supposed to look like a jedi outfit while not trying to look to hard like one.. still though.. it looks like she was wearing rags the whole time.
makes sense when she is a destitute scavenger on a desert planet... but why the hell was it just a cleaner version of it after she got to the resistance base? and not like normal clothes or something. also in the legends books lukes jedi robes (when he reestablished the order) are still all or mostly black like his outfit from episode 6. there was no reason to go the jedi outfit look for rey. there isn't even any reason for luke to have brought back the jedi robes in their old republic form. he could have done whatever the hell he wanted.
they were probably the same rags. They just got washed finally after 4 to 5 months of wearing them. Could imagine the stank on that. I know what I smelled like after 2 weeks in Iraq with no shower. though still the total whiteness of her skin with her being in a desert is still the most annoying thing to me.
well, tanning of the skin is a reaction to protect the skin from the harmful radiation of our sun, who's to say that the sun on that planet produced the same radiation, or that the radiation it did produce didn't destroy the pigment created by the act of 'tanning'. I suspect it's more likely that she simply wore full body coverage more frequently than not, and the only reason she ever took off that helmet outside is because the director couldn't accept having a protagonist who's face you didn't see for nearly a third of the movie.
She was no where and everywhere. Rey confirmed as The Force. Mary Sue ultimate enlightenment achieved.
Kinda related kinda not. But supposedly daisy ridley is in talks to be lara croft in the tomb raider reboot. And apparently the reboot will be in line with the latest game with a younger croft and just starting out on her tomb raiding.
No, the Tomb Raider reboot has already been in work for years. The only difference is the director said he LIKED the new game series. People keep thinking this means they're basing the next movie off of it so there's a ton of speculation about what it might be about. Nothing official has been stated though. The people who own the rights to the movie are completely unaffiliated to the game franchise.
