Managed to salvage a uh60 from the NE air base that was lodged between a building and a container, repaired it a couple of times as I bumped it out. Flew it back and landed it only for it to go skidding away and explode.
had a great time last night, good work everyone! I'm sorry I got a little salty, the suppressed pistol thing really ground my gears. I'll try and be good in the future.
This is how we learn! I still have a long way to go as squad leader but each time we try things I learn. Now whether I apply what I learned or not is the real question.
Tracked down the issue with the Fennek/Strider gunner position, it was a known bug in AGM that was fixed in the v0.91 build.
Last night we used meat and mead for some practice and found some interesting bugs. There is an error everyone gets when logging on for goats, Boom jokingly said that there must have been a huge herd of them somewhere on the island... little did we know Goatmagedon!! The picture really doesn't do it justice they covered roughly 1 square km of the island near the radar station. Our initial estimates were a couple of hundred when I started rocket runs with the chopper, after we landed and had all expended our 5th and 6th drums/boxes of mg ammo each we had upped the estimate to the high hundreds. After that the four of us had a good 30 min barrage with batteries of mortars, arty, and mrls. From there we decided it was time to finally get serious about killing them, the Tigris autocannons were found to be about the best way to do it. After over an hour of shooting them we finally claimed victory over goatmagedon. It looks like the issue with low fps on the map is a result of the goats, after we had killed them we all had around a 10 fps gain. (still not as good as altis on serious business but much better than before) So if you feel the need to reset meat and mead for low performance it probably isn't a bad idea, just be sure to find the goat herd from hell and carpet bomb the entire area to really improve performance.
Looking at the map to deal with the goats. Hoping it's just editor-placed units and not a script I'm gonna have to dig out.
