Do we have any motorcycle riders?

    I'm currently riding a Suzuki DRZ400SM Supermoto.
    Kinda like this:

I'm also learning to ride vintage trials, using a 1974 Yamaha TY250
    Kinda like this:

If you're not familiar with trials riding, it's kinda like obstacle course/rockcrawling with motorcycles, where the objective is to get through a rough section of terrain without sitting or putting your foot on the ground.
The good riders can do stuff like this:

Which is harder to do than it looks, because right now when I do it it looks more like this:

I grew up in a family that used to ride motorcycles alot but we stoped doing it.

i know we had a Suzuki and a Honda but i dont remember the models as i were a little to young for caring about that

Have a Honda Shadow Aero. Love it, just waiting for spring so I can get out and ride. Would love to get out and ride the Dragons Tail, not just kill dragons in game.

Damn near bulletproof bikes. And even though I live about an hour from that road I still have not ridden it yet, probably because there's just so many people up there on Sundays which is the only day I have off to ride.

I am really into cars/motorsports but never got into motorcycles much. Almost kinda too bad because my father-in-law has about 12-15 bikes and always seems disappointed in me when I tell him for the 12,000th time I dont want/know how to ride one.

Besides, I have the attention span of a fish and would kill myself. Im fine on a track on 4 wheels though

Currently driving a beat up 99 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro.

Favorite car that I've owned: 1993 Toyota MR2.

My dad and I run a motorcycle/car/truck/jetski/whatever people pay us for repair shop so we see a lot of crazy stuff. Right now we've got a 64 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible we're restoring for a customer, a 1951 Ford wrecker that we're halfway working on for ourselves, and last year we put a fuel injection system on a custom tube-frame trike with a 572 V8. We had a small dirt-track racecar in here last year with a GSXR1000 engine in it and a quick-change rear end that was a LOT of fun.

Old Caddies are so much nicer than the new ones.

Since you fix things, perhaps you could help me? My Camaro doesn't want to stay in time. I've replaced the timing chain, made sure the distributor was tight, and timed it like the instructions say.

Stay in time mechanically or ignition? Did you replace the gears with the timing chain?

No, the gears seemed fine. This is the result of me taking advice from my cousin and not taking it to a shop like I should have.

Edit: I think mechanically. It's been a few months since I did anything with it because I got frustrated.

On an older Chevy like that there is a good chance that the gear on the bottom of the distributor is worn out and skipping on the cam. I'm pretty sure you can replace just that gear but they may only sell it as a complete distributor assembly. That is the next piece I would check if it's jumping time electrically.

I think you can get like 6+ deg or so of play from the gear on the dist. on that vintage.

Yeah, i think you're right, Chris. And now I know what I'm buying next since I have everything for my computer. Hopefully the gas in it isn't too old...

Just wait till Chris gets on a roll in here... his cars have been in magazines.

My favorite ride was my 2000 323i, that thing was fun. Hella expensive to repair though (not like Chris's current car!), and being rear wheel I wasn't able to get into my garage 3-4 times in the winter when we get our ice/slush storms.

Now I'm rockin' the Honda Fit, paid off BOOOOOYYY! Wow, I've had this thing a long time.

I just remember having to shell out like $5-600 to replace a god damn window motor after Brett (our cousin) leaned against it at our wedding reception.
