no idea. might put it on github or whatever it's called (the community mod thing) and let someone else look at it.
man some people just are not happy or don't read. one guy asked on the aviation wheels "can you make a version for large ships". did he not read that i DID NOT make the blocks? then he commented that just because real world fighters land at around 200 kph/mph (whichever speed he used) these should be able to. I went "nope" well i didn't actually respond. but i was thinking nope because in vanilla you can't even go that fast. not everyone is going to use a speed mod. and you are probably going to be going slower in SE even with a speed mod when you want to land because of how much could actually go wrong.
yeah... he didn't have the worst manners, but definitely kind of missing the point. i gave him a fair but blunt response.
the guy who made that raven dropship (that i made a modified version of that is atmosphere sealed a few pages back) did make another slightly bigger dropship that looks beautiful. RCSP - Wyvern (No Mods) Troop/Cargo Multi-Purpose Ship i so want to make a sealed compartment version of it. Because not all planets have a breathable atmosphere. Not sure I want to make a space capable variant. If I did it would be very minimal adding of small Ions just to move through space but not very effectively. description of the attachements (first one the storage pod comes with the wyvern blueprint).
think i found a candidate for AI combat: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=617055961
I think that zachary guy does not read. or at least selective reading. still asking for large ship models when you clearly said neither of us made the models nor are we modelers or coders.
what happened to the screenshot thing? it used to be f12 but now it brings up a debug menu for me (it does take a screenshot but after the menu comes up). is printscreen the only way to do it now? and my helicarrier is mostly done though I forgot to put gyros in it. good thing i saved before i unlocked the lone landing gear because it was at a slight list so it moved sideways and i couldn't level it out so it hit and rolled a bit. at least it wasn't very high. also testing some of the newer blocks like the stairway. (not a picture of stairwell in my carrier) reactors it's 1 large 6 small and tons of batteries. not sure if i want to put a refinery in or not. no weapons yet. and i don't want to go overboard with weapons. also no hanger so any smaller ships would stay on the flight deck. so no hassle of trying to do an elevator system.
i noticed that too. F12 has been set as default for the debug menu. it's annoying, but i think it can be changed to something else. haven't tried yet.
i know printscreen does work (i think they get saved in screenshots folder not sure though) but then you have to upload them to an image hosting site. hm. i'll have to try that. on the wikia keybindings page it says f4 is the screenshot key. http://spaceengineers.wikia.com/wiki/Key_Bindings
it is a little longer than i was originally planning but not much. and of course right after i did these screenshots (f4 does work) i changed it a little bit. I think i'm going to say no to a refinery just because of weight. Sure I have space. heck the back half (basically right behind the last 3 engine pods that last one is 1 large rear facing and 3 each small facing down for lift and 3 facing forward. no idea if atmospheric thrusters cause damage to blocks) the other 4 thruster pods are 1 large and 2 small atmospheric thrusters. so total lift is 8 large 22 small, forward thrust (rear facing) is 4 large and reverse (forward facing) is 6 small thrusters. haven't decided how i will do the side thrusters.
added blueprint to the workshop. you do have to be my friend on steam. Sleipnir Light Helicarrier Lift is 8 Large atmospheric thrusters and 20ish small thrusters. 4 on each side for lateral movement. 4 large to move forward and 6 small for reverse. It can lose an entire side of thrusters and stay in the air. 2 medical facilities and 6-8 cryo chambers. Power is 1 large reactor and 6 small reactors and 60 batteries. It can stay in the air on group 1 reactors (the large and 4 of the smalls) or just the batteries. mass is just under 3 million kilograms. does have 8 parachutes. They do slow a ship down. I do not know if they will work as intended (keep the ship relatively level). The ship will still sustain damage they are just to limit the damage. I think it is around 50 meters in length and around 20 in width. Height (not counting the bridge) is also around 20. I never actually measured it. I'm thinking of adding a third turret/outcrop above the third thruster pod from the front (across from the bridge) just to even out looks a little bit and because there is a 23mm on the starboard side of the bridge. I just don't know if I would do another 23mm turret or maybe a missile turret. and yes that is a crashed one of these carriers in the lower left corner. That's how I found out it can stay aloft when missing all the thrusters on one side. It started a few meters above the one still flying and took about 20-30 minutes of 3 23mm turrets 2 50 mm turrets and 1 122mm firing to bring it down. total weapons right now are 6 23mm turrets (2 on the flight deck) 1 on the starboard (right side) of the bridge and one one the back of the bridge. The last 2 are on the bottom. 2 50mm turrets also on the flight deck and 2 122mm turrets on the bottom. I figured the heavy hitting guns should be on the bottom since that is probably where most things with firepower (vehicles) would be shooting from. and most enemies coming from above would probably be small craft or large built with small ship blocks. after measuring it it is 128 meters in length (probably closer to 90-100 inside) 28 meters wide and 15 high (not counting the bridge).
