Actually, we did, but it was listed strangely (found it after the fact). This thread more clearly identifies the game in question. The game has been heavily updated since January anyway. Much more content than before.
I only played a few hours but this is pretty fun so far. though moving around is weird in that space suit (direction does not always follow the mouse)
So I've seen all yall playing this on TS a bit, worth getting into this early? I did enjoy starmade while it lasted
I like it but sometimes lose patience with the controls (I'm crap, shoot me, lol!) but otherwise it is fun and would recommend it.
Our first capital ship is nearing completion. I have been working on it off and on for about two weeks now. With a length of 300 meters, it is roughly the size of a Nimitz-class carrier (it is also significantly wider). Can't wait to take this thing out for some combat! We are also working on some lite-RP elements to make things more interesting. Faction settings are just around the corner. Time to get the war machine ready!
Still under construction, but this should give you an idea of what it will eventually look like: You can also see some of my small ships docked inside. To give you an idea of the scale: This is the dorsal large thruster on the starboard "pontoon". It is roughly 10 meters high.

btw... I've looked into claims that Space Engineers has DRM and this is what I found: The developer of Space Engineers, Keen Software House, also made Miner Wars... which had DRM (at least before it was moved to Steam). I did not look into the reasons why. Space Engineers, however has NO "DRM" in the traditional sense. It has no need for it since it is tied to your Steam account. Personally, I don't consider Steam "DRM" as it has never gotten in the way of me playing a game I paid for (this is a subject of debate I will not get into here). Anyone telling you "don't buy Space Engineers because it has DRM" is misleading you to think it is something it is not.
