is it okay to yell out, "I'm helping you" as you are trying to kill them? its probably more of helping the innocents that are in the area and getting team members back into the fight.
*ZAP* I'm helping... other comes back to life... *ZAP* I'm HELPING!!!1 other dies again... *ZAP* oops, sorry
It looks like they are trying to make it a RPG with hit points and armor stats along with weapons doing X amount of damage. Seeing damage numbers pop up while I'll shoot someone 50 times so they can die is going to get old real fast. They should have just made it a FPS and skip the RPG bullet sponge silliness.
everyone else is doing RPG FPS why can't they? i mean doing it this way makes it sound like they want people to focus on the survival aspect and not the combat. but then why even put the combat in?
Third person, XP and skills, exploration, base building, multiple shots to kill....... Again I keep making myself compare to Fallout rather than ARMA or other sim shooters and it works. I've got R6S for intense high-risk firefights.
goddamnit Skwi we're supposed to be making fun of their design decisions! read the previous comments and get with the program!
I just remember the bullet-sponge issue and RPG level-based health/damage stats being big funsuckers with that one. But yeah, true, no cars, hopefully better level designs.
level design? I thought it was based in New York? Should look just like the real New York then. they also stated they wont be putting in some areas in that were in the E3 demo for the release DLC most likely also..
After watching the entire angry joe preview. this is a Tom Clancy's game in name only and not in actual spirit and gameplay of it. I like all the nice features and customization but like in the preview im not feeling the whole RPGish 3rd person sponge shooter. Also along with Brooklyn, Staten Island, long Island, and one other place now being confirmed as DLC. Brooklyn was also the original location for the E3 showings.
