    I don't think I will be updating anytime soon since I'm on the road and on a Hotspot this next week. Really interested in how it runs on outdated systems, my old laptop is difficult to use these days so if the operating system is more streamlined than 7 I will be thrilled to get a bit more life out of it.

    meh. though I don't want anyone to have my browser history. god why do companies think everyone wants everyone else to know what the hell they are doing 24/7. and the stuff about cortana doesn't sound different from what already happens with browsers and shit. if you don't have something turning ads off at least. actually none of it sounds different from anything if you have a smart phone or tablet. hell all of it is already done through google and apple. Definitely turning the data syncing thing off though.

    i mean meh to the privacy stuff. but i'd turn most/all of it off if I can.

    Yeah. Sadly this has become the industry standard. Microsoft is one of the last big ones to convert over. I'll probably shut most of that stuff down, for instance I wont need Cortana for my home computer.

    If you are running a SoundBlaster card, keep in mind there may not be a driver until August for you.

    What I am doing is going to download all of the Win10 drivers from my Mobo vendor and nVidia so I have them on my drive when I do the upgrade. There has supposedly been an issue with Windows Update vs GeForce Experience update.. not sure I have not read the details. I just downloaded everything manually.

    From what I understand, some nvidia users will need to wait a week or so for updated drivers if they don't want to use the beta ones.

    Nope I upgraded, so far haven't had any issues. Its like Windows 7 with a different start menu. I'll try out some games like Star Citizen, etc, and report back if I have any issues.

    EDIT: Well, to be precise, the auto-update feature failed twice for some reason. I had to manually download the installer, after that it was fine.
