Tried out a new helicopter today, Boeing/SOAR MH-47E by konyo This thing is awesome, adds two additional crew positions compared to the arma 2 CH-47 (rear crew watching out the back ramp and a crew chief looking out the belly hatch at your sling loads) There are three versions of the model, the hard core is cool that when you get out you have to walk out of the helicopter and not instantly pop outside. This mod is compatible with Raven's Lifter mod. Yes that is a guy going down the rope ladder while in mid flight to board the boat just before it is released into the water. The lifter mod allows you to sling load crates and vehicles under the helicopters as well as providing a fast rope option to offload troops. This video from Armaholic should give you an idea just how awesome it is.
We need to get configuration control on these mod packs. Cause it's disjointed as shit right now and I don't know what I'm supposed to have. This is what I was complaining about.
Ok.. so basically modpack 5 is a complete pack. It replaces EVERYTHING you had before. The pack I posted today is just an addon, there are no replacements. The way I am planning on doing this is Major releases will be a complete pack replacement. Minor versions may be updates to existing, the pack like I released today will be special and just add a couple things.
So addition today, please see original post for addon pack. This adds TPWCas, XM-25 Airburst grenade launcher and a shotgun pack.
TPWCas is the primary reason for the add-on. I would have considered it as part of the main pack, but hadn't noticed it received an update. It adds 'morale' and 'common damn sense' to the AI units. When they receive sustained fire (3-5 rounds in their 'personal space' within 3 seconds) they go to ground, lose some ability to return fire, and will seek cover immediately. In other words: They can now be suppressed. There are some minor conflicts with Gaia (MCC's AI) where the AI mobs will ignore a great deal of suppression and keep coming at you. Mission-builders need to keep that in mind when turning units over to Gaia. Essentially, you are creating 'Super-Spec-Op-Ninja-Bath-Salt-Soldiers' to throw at the players. Expect casualties. As for the cluster-fuck of mods on the server: I agree. We are looking into a way to consolidate everything into a compliation, or compilations (one for Vehicles, one for Weapons, and one for Mechanics), that can be iterated and managed more efficiently. A "Skjaldborg Modpack" mod would be easier to distribute and activate/deactivate for everyone. We just need to figure out the how's and verify the GPL's on the mods as they are to make sure it's cool to distro this (even if just in house).

It should update the mods automatically, but you can hit refresh to refresh the list of mods. Then you can right click XM-25, KDK-Mowhawk, shotguns, and aircraftcomp and click remove for each one. U100 and Unlocked uniforms are the same name, so they should work fine. After that, you should be good to go.
