I've been having this You-tuber on the back burner for a while. He has been following NMS pretty much since the beginning... Anyhow, there is some real juicy pieces of very interesting info. I do believe that my earlier post on my intuition on this is coming to fruition. I'm excited as a little girl at a Davy Jones concert!
Well, even if it doesn't live up to everyone's hype, what I have seen and read today just got me to preorder. Of all the 'explore/build/survive' games this has by far the most draw for me
yeah i'm interested in it mostly just for casual, completely mindless but visually stimulating exploration. i've got SC for srsbsns
Id be more into this if I knew we could actually link up in a timely manner but since I know how huge the universe is, I doubt we would ever see each other. which is the main reason for stopping me from getting the game.
This is where I share Pidian's view. I have SC for the social experience. NMS is my solo block out the world experience
Glad to hear it got the (i'm going to call it) "Tentacle of Approval". I have a good feeling about this as well and will be pre-ordering tonight. It won't have the customization of Space Engineers... and it's not Star Citizen, but it's closer to what I want than a lot of stuff out there right now. Also, I'm still hopeful we can meet up in-game... but I'm okay if it takes a few weeks or whatever to make that happen.
The biggest hangup I have with this game is whether or not they can deliver on giving you enough things to do in the game and/or make planets interesting enough to explore. The biggest problem with procedural generation is that it can all feel kind of samey after awhile. I really want to love Elite: Dangerous, but I just got so damn bored with it. I'm really hoping NMS can avoid that same fate.
that's my hangup as well. core gameplay looks very simple but if the exploration is worth exploring it'll be pretty cool as a side game
Hey guys can any one check for me if my rig can handle No Man's Sky PC requirements? I would really appreciate it. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Intel Core i7 950@3.07GHz ~ 3.1GHz 12288MB Ram DX11.2 Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti I'm pretty sure my graphics card is dated. Thanks!
Here's what I found: OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Core i3 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: nVidia GTX 480 Storage: 10 GB available space Keep in mind, those are probably minimum specs. From what I read, it will be more RAM intensive than anything else.
