Question concerning the new weapons pack and persistence on the SRS server - will weapon/ammo crates have the correct ammo for Massi weapons or will we have to use the laptop to reload ammo mags? EDIT: NVM, read the page it and specifies 3 new ammo boxes.
Two working versions of our map up. One: with Xmed (you'll need it running) and no AGM (so turn it off). Two: with AGM and A3Wounding. AGM needs to be enabled. A3W is baked into the map. We'll give it a day or two. Y'all try out both and let me know which you prefer. Edit: Oh. And the new VAS interface is on both. Modpack incoming.

Nobody's going to want the Benelli anyway with the Saiga now in Finally got my loadouts set where I want them last night. I'll try out the A3W system this weekend since I'm already familiar with XMed.
A bit of the awesomeness that comes with the new mods: Unlike most masks, this isn't a 'hat' or 'goggles'. It's the NVG slot so can be worn with all the other fun stuff. It also magically enables you to see in the dark. The weapon is an AK-74 SF Camo with ACOG-Holo BU sight. The ACOG-H is my new favorite rifle scope for close-to-mid. Love the ACOG-Holo, found it last night and I don't know that I'll ever use another low power scope in game. Wish I wasn't out of town with training, really wanted to test out the damage and penetration models on the new guns.
The holo sight isn't as well defined as the dot on the MRCO or many of the 3D optics in vanilla, but it's bright and the 'camera position' for it gives a wide view while maintaining definition. The 4x scope has a very fine, illuminated crosshair with hashes that clearly mark range. It's not -that- different from other 4x's, but I seem to be quicker on the mark with it.
Ran around on the A3W server for a bit this morning. Got shot, but not killed. The vanilla medkit (required for A3W) patched me up. Supposedly, you can revive players and AI with it. Didn't get a chance to test. See if y'all can figure out if it's working at all. I get a wierd feeling that it's borked.
Testing is telling me that AGM and A3W don't work together.. I can probably tweak it some, but honestly.. would rather get Xmed to work with AGM. I'll be working on that this week, but for now the SRS Xmed server will remain up with all of the other mods active. So un-load AGM, load up the XMed mods and have fun. Will update when I have something.
xmed has been giving me issues. As far as I can tell im missing a userconfig folder with some settings but the latest versions of xmed dont include it. Error: include file userconfig\x39\medsys_clientconfig.hpp not found Sorted it out now. If anyone else is having the same issue. I do think XMed is the best med system we've tried so far. If it can work with AGM great, if not I think Xmed would be more important really. I have REALLY enjoyed the new weapons pack. In fact all my loadouts now almost exclusively (except for the Titan in my AT build) use weapons from Massi's pack. The only thing I don't like is that none of them seem to be set up for use with bipods. I have to confess that I tried the AKM and really enjoyed using it. Especially helpful that it carries 30 rounds of 7.62 instead of 20 like most other larger caliber assault rifles. I wish there was a blacked out version like the AK74. The shotguns are a bit odd. Spread is super wide, almost unusable beyond 30m. They are super powerful up close though. I shot a guy with the Saiga at around 4m and he went flying twice that far through the air. Slugs fire really high and are not usable right now. The Benelli uses a fast clip-style reload instead of the single loading that the M4 Super pack used even though no clip is modeled on the gun. I have one more silly uniform request - Backwards hats.
Okay, here is the modpack update. Use the previous Modpack 7, then delete the @AGM folder and replace it with the one in the pack 7 FIX. Now we can have AGM and XMed working together! Currently earplugs are turned on so be sure to put them in. Also there is a new menu found by hitting ESC to set up the XMed interaction controls.
